My family spent a total 4 nights at The Art Hotel Osaka Bay, 1 night in a Triple Room and 3 nights in a Quadruple. Connected to the JR Bentenchō Station along the Osaka Loop line, it was our best choice due to its proximity to Universal Studios Japan. But being on the Osaka Loop Line means all the other tourist attractions are easily accessible.
The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. We loved the simple interior and there was enough space for all our luggage, 6 of them! We were given rooms on the 23rd and 24th floors and we enjoyed fantastic views of the Osaka skyline! Toiletries are provided as in most of Japanese hotels. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The toilet and bath are separate which is good. The staff are courteous and helpful.
Outside the hotel's 2nd floor are restaurants, cafes, Burger King, shops, a convenience store and a drug store.
I would love to try their breakfast at the 51st floor and the famous Solaniwa Onsen next time.
The room rates are also good value. We booked at Booking.com and found a really good bargain.
Truly, we had a nice stay at the Art Hotel Osaka Bay Tower. Will stay again when in Osaka area.

Everything exceeded our expectations — from the perfect location to the warm and attentive service.
The staff were incredibly polite, kind, and thoughtful, always ready to help with a smile. The room had everything we needed and more, including high-quality toiletries and even special amenities for children — such as kids’ slippers, pajamas, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and sponges. We’ve never experienced such attention to detail for families with kids!
Breakfast was a true highlight. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. The beef steak, in particular, was absolutely fantastic — tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
The hotel atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, with stunning views and great facilities. It truly felt like a home away from home. We would happily come back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Universal Studios Japan! 💛

The stay was extremely comfortable and the staff is really friendly, plus their English is good, so it is really easy to communicate. The location is great close to the monorail and the Midosuji line. Plus Osaka University is only 15 min away by bus.

Universal studios, was a blast, a crazy experience and it was very fun to start off Japan. Osaka castle was really cool to see as well, using the osaka fun pass, it was free to visit these attractions. Klook has good deals and there was good shopping and food. Things like the cruise at dotonbori, included in the pass was fun to see all the vibrant lights and to taste all the street food. Shopping was decent there and there was a lot to do in Osaka, like roaming the streets at night, or going to spa world at 2am, the place is huge with multiple floors and with lots of saunas and different spas for an affordable price, one of the best onsens.

I really loved the layout of the room.
I really loved the layout of the room. Having a dedicated lounge room seperate from the bedroom was great. What I thought might be improved upon was the signage to the reception area. Coming from the train, you walk in and you’re on the second floor looking down into an open area where as you walk past a pharmacy you see a reception. Going into the lifts, perhaps have a sign saying that the reception is to the left following the red arrow.

The room has it's own bath, massage chair, flat screen, all sorts of things.
But it is poor in terms of hygiene and room service.
However, you should keep in mind not to have high expectation, since it's considerably cheap.

To be truthful I stayed because I wanted to visit the airport as an aircraft spotter, so I did not look around a lot, however in the evening I did find an excellent Nepalese bar / restaurant, so much so that I never bothered to look for anywhere else the following two nights of my stay.

The area was close to a number of interesting sites. We visited an incredible vintage market at Expo '70 Commemorative Park. Travel to Katsuo Ji (my favorite!) was easy from this area.

The breakfast was fantastic — so many options, and everything tasted great. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Every part of the hotel, including our room, was spotless. I requested fresh towels daily, and they not only provided them but also made the bed each day. The views from our room, the restaurant, and the Sky Spa were absolutely breathtaking. After a long day of walking and sightseeing, relaxing in the Sky Spa’s large bath with that amazing view was the perfect way to unwind.

The people that work there are very kind and accommodating, from the moment you book till you leave they make sure everything is taken care of and are available to help 24/7. This place is extremely peaceful, the food is out of a story book because of how good it is and I just love this place so much I will be back one day. I took the bike for a ride exiting to the left of the villa and found a restaurant called green something ( I can’t remember the name) and it was such a beautiful place with a stream running through the outdoor dining area.

Felt like this area was more of a shopping and eating, I guess it depended where your hotel was located. Our hotel was located more near anime character retailers and places to eat and close (21 min) walk to lots of shopping streets. Most of the people working at the retail shops were really friendly and helpful, even the ones in Hep 5 area. We did run into our share of rude locals and a rude racist tourist especially little children. Bad behavior include pushing and cutting us in line even though clearly there is a line of people present.

We only stayed one night when we arrived as we needed a place to recharge and freshen up before we head to Kyoto. The hotel is very nice with complete amenities in the room. The room we occupied has the view of the airport runway but we never heard any noise coming from the airplanes arriving and taking off. A bit expensive but it was worth it. Breakfast buffet was very good too.
