The staff was VERY helpful in arranging transportation during a fully booked weekend on Sado Island. Goint the extra mile to follow up and get us a spot on an already fully booked bus back from the festival. Nice breakfast buffet, offering a mix of western and Japanese foods. And a bit better than normal expectations for a businessman hotel. Bed was up off the floor for us old folks.

☺️ The owner received us with hospitality and warm drink, served with adorable local keramics. (Sad the shop of keramics closed when we stayed in the area, but I suppose that’s worth to pay a visit and look around) Owner also shared the sushi restaurants, useful information of viewing spots nearby (gold mountains, supermarkets and routes) Because we didn’t have a car to move around, he even offered to send us to the spots and took us back to the bus stations. Which was out of expectation and saved us a lot of time to enjoy the trip. 🛖 The house had kitchen and a cozy living room(shared space) with coffee ready to drink all the time. On the first floor there is a bathroom with 🛁. In the guest room there is a shower room and separated sink area. There is sofa & coffee table, aside with television in room, as a relaxing zone. Further more…🎶 There were recordings of great jazz played from recorder and projection for the movies. In the room they were connected to YAMAHA speakers 🔊. Amazing entertainment in room with good sound system. Everything we need and things out of expectation made the stay rememberable. Such a beautiful stay and we can feel a lot of love in the house. Thank the owner for his friendliness and amazing house. By talking with the owner and looking around in the house we got to know more about the location.

Everything. The room was comfy and big. The room, bathroom and shower were very clean. There were vinyl, DVD, and video players available. The vinyl collection was very good and harmonized with calm Sado's sunsets. There is also benches in the garden so you can rest there, have a barbecue or interact with local folks passing by. The owner is very friendly and kind, I enjoyed to speak with him and share a tea and a meal. He can help you to arrange any details of your stay in Sado so do not hesitate to share your plans with him so he can assist you. The room is ~20 minutes walking from Sado Mine (Sado Kinzan). You can also bike to Senkakuwan Bay for 40 minutes. I really loved my stay in Natural Mind, thank you so much!

Our stay here was incredible. The staff accommodated all of our needs all while managing a language barrier. Everyone on staff was attentive, polite and incredibly helpful. The facility was clean, simple and well-cared for. The views for the morning sunrise and evening sunset were stunning and it felt really amazing to go out on the deck with many of the other guests for this daily experience. The front desk staff was especially excited about this aspect of the stay and made sure that all of the guests knew about this. We had wonderful breakfasts and dinners while we were there and this was incredibly convenient as this was the only food available in this part of the island. These meals were some of the best we had while in Japan. Finally, the location, with the beach a short walk and several hiking trails in walking distance was just great! Thank you again to all of the staff that made our stay so perfect!

The owner running the place was very kind! He explained and showed everything to us that was usable in the hostel. There are multiple showers and toilets, as well as a kitchen and laundry available. For the price, it’s really great and I recommend it if you’re just looking for a place to stay the night!
