In the summer time it would be the most romantic place for a short stay in an old kasbah. In the winter time it gets colder during the night.

Service was exceptional. The owner Tariq and his staff are so nice we can never forget them. This was one of most memorable stays. Highly recommend this hotel. Very authentic place. Tariq mom was such a kind lady, she made a special drink with herbs for my daughter who fell sick with cold/fever during travel. Food was good. The staff sang and danced during dinner which felt like very authentic berber vibes. They are genuinely very nice people and will do anything to ensure our comfortable stay.

The staff and concierge were really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was clean and cleaned every morning thoroughly. First accommodation in which i actually saw this (no sign of calcar, the water constantly filtering - i've seen other pools not cleaned). The location is amazing and private. The view makes you feel like you're in an oasis. They have their own parking and also camping for camping vans with all the amenities. Food was really good.

When we got to the place, I immediately noticed that this place seems really popular, and for good reason. Bob was a wonderful host, full of enthusiasm and very diligent. We were met with tea on arrival and he always made sure our needs were being met. We were asked ahead of time if we were going to have dinner with them and were glad we decided to. The multi-course dinner was good and huge for €15 per person. Breakfast was the typical Moroccan breakfast offering plus other stuff in the form of a buffet. The rooms are quite small and basic but clean and comfy. It is next to the road but the road is generally quiet even in the day and extra quiet from sunset onwards. We got a spacious balcony that opened up to a wonderful view of the gorge. We only stayed one night which seemed typical for many of the guests but this place seems to be run very well. Bob also explained how to get to the gorge in great detail. The beginning of the trail to the gorge is only a few minutes away on foot but you can also drive and park there. Bonus: Charlie the good girl is just the sweetest.

La posizione è ottima. Si trova direttamente sulla piazza centrale di Ouarzazate. La città è moderna e viva, non sembra di essere in Marocco, ma in qualche città Europea! Il parcheggio è fuori in strada gratuito. La persona che gestisce l'hotel è molto disponibile e gentile. La colazione la offriranno nel bar sotto all'hotel, anch'esso molto bello e accogliente. C'è l'acqua calda. Per il prezzo pagato, ottimo servizio.

Siamo stati fortunati perché viaggiando in bassa stagione abbiamo potuto sfruttare prezzi decisamente bassi per il valore della struttura. Si trova a circa 10 minuti da Ouarzazate quindi la consiglio a chi ha un'auto.

If you are on a long journey across the country, desert or Atlas, this is a fabulous stop on your way for lodging or even just a cozy meal. The hospitality and family atmosphere could not be beat. The food was out of this world and enjoyed on a scenic terrace overlooking the river valley. There isn't really a town per say, but this establishment seems to be the anchor in the area. We spent the afternoon playing Uno on the terrace followed by a homemade dinner in a private dining room. We slept well and enjoyed the immediate hot water and nice bathrooms (the hottest water on demand of our whole trip!). We stayed in the family style room and it was perfect for our family of 2 adults, 1 kiddo. After a filling breakfast the staff gave us directions for a hike to collect crystals and geodes. Hammer included! We'll never forget our stay at Dar Isselday. Huge thanks to the lovely staff and management. So glad we found you. Can't wait to send our friends your way.

A great trip to Ouarzazate and great lodges. I and my family had a good stay at The Lodges. The owners are really very helpful and pleasant. We enjoyed the food and the music. The rooms were clean and beautiful. I only mentioned the times to go there once. I think you Youssef, Mimoun Lahoucine.
