The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving.
The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature.
We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice.

Lovely place, I actually extended my stay from 3 days to 10 days. it is just on the beach so you get to hear and see the sea all day and night. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is gorgeous and I actually have a hard time leaving the property is as it just feels so perfect. I was there with my dog and he was as welcomed. Perfect stay, what a gem!

Very nice hotel on an island that doesnt have so many 4 or 5 star hotels..great location, clean beautiful rooms..hotel feels like an oasis..very nice staff, good bar..parking a bit small, but there is huge free parking 1 minute walk away..ok breakfast, but expensive with 20 eur per person, but this is normal on Martinique it seems..

I had an amazing experience with the city been lively till 1pm. The atmosphere was cool and busy. Restaurants and bars were open all night making it easy to get something to eat or drink. Overall the people were welcoming and friendly.

The location and access to the beach and a variety of places to dine was great. Very friendly and helpful people who were very accommodating in spite of our lack of French.
Favourite places to eat were l'Annexe and Ice'N Coffee.
Also the Pizzeria and Glacier place near the Hangar had very friendly wait staff. The desserts here were the highlight.
Try Kebb'ab by the casino. Quick, inexpensive and delicious. BBC recommended as a one of a kind gourmet snack.

It is a very nice commune, with sandy beaches and beautiful sunsets. Nearby, there are also places for snorkeling: Anse Figuier, and Pointe Borgnèse. Saint Luce has a good location for the most beautiful beaches.

Le Diamant is a great alternative to staying in the more touristy Les Trois Ilets, while remaining accessible to activities in the southern part of Martinique. Lodging in this area seemed to be a better value for money.

Saint-Anne is a great place to stay in Martinique, with direct proximity to one of the most beautiful beach we've seen in the south of the island. Everything is walkable distance which is great for backpackers like us. The town itself has plenty of small shops, markets and restaurants. It's quite touristic so the prices ain't cheap but there's quite a few options to eat out depending on your budget. The town feels authentic, we really enjoyed our time there.

Andra was incredible!! she took as much time as we wanted to tell us EVERYTHING about the Island, where to go, what to do. Showed us around the grounds at our stay. This is the only time I can recall where not a single detail could have been improved upon. 100 out of 10!!!!

Le Marin has a massive yacht basin which sets the tone for the shore side. There are lots of laundries, ship chandlers and grocery shopping to service boats. Also plenty of restaurants and bars. There is a yacht side of town and a local side of town -- both are interesting and pleasant. There is a large local market (not every day). This is not a mass tourist destination so it has preserved its local character. Safe and friendly.

There are only a couple of restaurants in Schoelcher and we had to drive to both so could not enjoy a drink. We did not feel that we could walk along a main road to the centre of town.
There are no beach bars on the beach we stayed at and only 2 options on the beach in town. We had meals at both and they were "OK" at best.
There is not much in the town centre and you find yourself driving elsewhere each day to find stuff to do.
I'd recommend staying at Point du Bont or Diamond Beach which seemed to have more life and restaurants for the evening.
Overall there were not many options to enjoy a meal.

The area was so lovely - Grande Anses and Les Anses were the two best beaches we came across during our 2 week stay - we had a car for 1 week and a yacht for the second so had ample opportunity to explore but at the end of our 2 weeks still thought where we started was best.

Although there were a lot of restaurants nearby, because it was the Thursday after carnival, there was not much available. The central location of the hotel made it easy to go around. The residents were friendly and helped in translating and pointing the way to the places we wanted to go to.
I would recommend that hotel to anyone wishing to visit Martinique.
We watched the carnival from the window and enjoyed it as it was a bit different from our carnival. Nice clean fun.
