We were given a free room upgrade and treats for our Valentine’s trip which was so appreciated. We also loved that the tv had Netflix and YouTube, such a great addition. The hotel is located right by a mall and a central busy area which is great to access but the hotel itself was very peaceful. Also only a 15 minute drive to the airport which was so helpful. Amazing value!

United StatesI was shocked by how nice it was! The name “best western” does not conjure a positive image. This hotel, however, was FANTASTIC! The BEST of the Best Westerns I’ve stayed at. It’s BRAND NEW. Literally still under construction. The outdoor pool is BEAUTIFUL! 360 views. They need to put some heaters up there and make it inviting during winter. Can we heat the pool? I loved that outdoor area. I also LOVED the GYM and the fact it was open 24 hours! The staff was great! Corine made sure I got a room with sunshine. I was working from 6pm-3am, so the little things make a big difference! The red light/green light for housekeeping worked well. They did a fantastic job! Comfortable beds. Hot hot water. Lovely soaps. Super fast WiFi. Tested 89.31 down and 10.87 mbps up. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

The location is great! It's in the middle of nightlife, close to supermarkets and many shops, close to the center, a few minutes drive from everywhere in malta. The sea is 2 minutes away.
Breakfast has many options, fresh vegetables and fruits every day.
The rooms were very clean, their cleaning services are excellent and reliable. Rooms are big and lack nothing.
Most importantly, the staff were amazing and understanding, they care about their guests and respect them, they make sure you're comfortable. Staff in general were very kind, they go above and beyond to make sure you're statistied. Specifically, we want to thank Loredana for her spectacular service.
I wouldn't hesitate booking this hotel again for another visit in Malta.

Of course we expect a good experience staying at a Hilton chain..... The reality after 3 nights were just exceptional. Big Hotel = Big crowd. Somehow they got it perfect in just about everything. Big sumptuous breakfast, Super clean, Great staff, Large room.... 5 stars all the way.
Now, the 6th STAR : We needed to check out very early for our flight.... So We settled bill etc the evening before..... To our surprised, they offered to pack some breakfast to take away.... It was simple stuff but the gesture was an icing on the cake. We've stayed in hundreds of Hotels, this was the first time We'd been offered Packed breakfast. Kudos to the management!

Amazing staff, personal care, cleaningless, salt water outdoor pools, location close to paradise bay beach, wonderful buffet for breakfast and dinner, continously refilled. Several salads, variety of fish and meet plates, tasty cakes, and icecream! we arrived late evening, after buffet closure, but the hotel offered cold dinner in our room. we left early, before breakfast opening, but there was a small buffet at the reception with cold breakfast, juice, and coffee!! thank you!

Hotel is in a great spot, a lot of restaurants and stores around and the bus station is right in front of the entrance. Clean, spacious rooms that are well air conditioned. The pool and the spa are really nice areas to spend time when you're off the beach :)
The location of the hotel is such that you can wasily visit any part of Malta using the public transport.
Staff was also attentive and helpful!

The location is excellent, on the quiet part of the peninsula. There are many shops, restaurants, in the evening it is nice to walk by the sea. Our suite was large and clean on the 7th floor overlooking the street. However, it has good insulation and you can sleep in silence. The apartment is air-conditioned, the kitchen has everything needed for cooking.

Surprisingly great hotel, given the location and the prices on Malta. The reception desk employees are amazing and take care of your needs during your stay! We had a very late flight, so the hotel gave us free access to the pools and facilities even we had checked out! Highly recommend!

There’s not much to explore in StJ but it was good base.
There’s not much to explore in StJ but it was good base. You’re just a short €2 bus ride into Sliema and from there, a 5 minute ferry over to Valetta. There are some nice places to eat in St Julian’s. If you like sushi, then Zest is a fantastic restaurant. I went over to Valetta 2/3 times. I also went to Mosta for an afternoon. I thought eating and drinking was reasonably priced in all areas. As this was December it wasn’t so busy around, I can imaging in summer the place is heaving (and hot 🥵).

Valletta is a really beautiful city, lively but also a very relaxed feel to it. So many things to do - especially cultural - but good for all ages (we are a family with older teenagers). It is really easy, quick and cheap to travel everywhere on the island by bus. All the prices are advertised: you will not be ripped off and there are no touts aggressively trying to get your business. It feels really safe. There are very busy streets, but if you step off onto side streets you can find quieter areas immediately. The Maltese people are reserved but friendly and polite, they will never hassle you. We absolutely loved Malta and will go back again soon.

Best to visit in winter lovely and warm amazing bars and restaurants and super cocktail bar lots to see and do clean beautiful place . Cheaper to get normal bus passes to travel around .Avoid taxis unless prebooked

Great little town, with easy acces to the beach and public...
Great little town, with easy acces to the beach and public transport options to discover the rest of the island. Great sides to visit in and around town, be mindful of all the stairs, lots if up- and downhill in town. A good variety of restaurants on offer, with supermarkets for other daily needs. There is a bus that goes to the airport (approx. 1hr 20min)

Whilst out of the way of the city the marina area is vibrant and well serviced with bars/restaurants. Pleasant stroll to a decent but small beach with bar/restaurant. Very well served for travel around the island… cheap buses and taxis.

Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and...
Msida looks like a good midway point between Valleta and Sliema, but it's really a residential neighborhood with not much to offer to someone coming to Malta for vacation.
In between the constant construction and abandoned and derelict houses, it's quite unsightly.
On the flip-side, since it's residential, you get some good local spots with affordable prices and great quality.

We were glad that we stayed out of the centre of Valletta in this more peaceful area and yet it was very close to the centre and we really enjoyed the walk back to the apartment after visiting Valletta. In the area there are lots of things that are on the Floriana Historic trail.
You are close enough to the centre to walk to restaurants in the evening but we had a lovely meal sat outside at Balzunetta restaurant.

Point de View is ideally situated outside the main gate to Mdina.
The bus services from Rabat to anywhere on the island are excellent.
We know the island of Malta very well after visiting annually for 45 years. and Rabat and the nearby towns and countryside are relatively unspoilt in comparison to the Northeast of the island, and also free of traffic queues!
You are close to Hagar Qim, Ghar Lapsi, Limestone Heritage and Wied is Zurrieq - history and lovely bays on your doorstep.
