RussiaI really like everything! The hotel is very clean. My room was very clean and it felt very new. I guess it is newly built hotel. There is restaurant on the ground floor. It is too rated on google maps and I can tell for sure it is. Especially given the fact that lot of guests from other hotels come to have a meal there. I found the buffet very basic which for me was fine. However also I ordered a lot from the menu. Prices are good and even they have variety of Indian meals. Which I didn’t eat except of paratha. I just see on some of the reviews some customers complaint sometime because there is lack of Indian food. Not the case here.
Generally it is a very very small island. I have been already two time before in different locations. This is so far the smallest island I have ever been.
The weather was 50/50 sunshine and rain, it didn’t make my impression of the island bad because I found beauty in the rain. I live in the dessert so I missed rain.
There is mini bar, kettle, tea/coffee, amenities in WC on the room. They check your room 2 times a day for water replenishment and cleaning. Like I said it was very cost and clean. Worth the money.

PolandWe felt so welcomed and well taken care of. We’ve been in Hathaa with our 4 year old daughter for 8 nights. This is the best place for a family. It’s very close to the beach where we snorkeled among the colorful fish and our daughter could play with the local kids. On the other side (also very close by) is the beach where every day we’ve seen sting rays and sharks.
We highly recommend taking a trip to swim with sharks, dolphins and turtles that is offered here.
Thank you for everything! These were the best holidays we’ve ever had!

United KingdomWhere to even begin… our stay at Whale Shark Beach is one we will not forget. The staff were so accommodating and friendly for our entire stay. They always welcomed us back from our excursions or just afternoons out on the beach and always wanted to know what we had done that day.
The food was immaculate and we ended up eating at the hotel every night so we could keep trying things off the menu. The rooftop dining area is especially lovely, it’s nice to be able to see the stars during the evening.
The excursions team were absolutely incredible. We saw dolphins, turtles, various reefs and had an unforgettable experience swimming with manta rays. The team were also incredibly generous and allowed us to join two additional manta ray and whale shark trips for no additional cost after we had not seen them initially. The boat was well equipped and the team were incredibly focussed on guest safety in the water as well as enjoyment. Another key thing that we applaud the excursions team on is ensuring the safety and well being of the wild animals we saw whilst out on the sea. The boat engine was immediately turned off as soon as we saw dolphins and they kept a good distance away instead of chasing and harassing the animals. Additionally, prior to one of our whale shark tours we were briefed on how to swim with the animal safely and were reminded that if anyone tried to touch or swim to close to the animal they would be removed from the water. As someone who works in marine animal conservation, I applaud the team at Whale Shark Beach for putting the animals first and ensuring that both them and the guests could have a safe and enjoyable experience.
The room was lovely. The bed was the most comfortable bed I’d ever slept in and very spacious. The television also had smart options available to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime which was a big bonus.

ItalyFantastic stay. The property is brand new , all the staff is really nice and cooperative. Rooms are very nice, new with minimal furniture, big and very clean. The sea view is stunning. It is a peaceful place, the only one with its quiet private beach where you can enjoy sunset , baby sharks and rays. You can enjoy dinner right on the beach and the atmosphere is speechless.The food is really nice and the service is very quick comparing to all the other restaurants in the island .They provide you beach towels and there is a common fridge where you can store your staff. Wifi works very well. Wonderful sea, a lot of beautiful beaches nearby (10 min walking to walk throughout the whole island) and many restaurants.

visiting the Maldives is a dream for anyone and I knew that the ayada maldives resort would go beyond that dream. Since I made the reservation a year ago and started contacting the hotel, I noticed the difference. Highly qualified staff to provide our adventure with a unique experience. From our departure point to the island it took exactly 36 hours … in Male we had a completely pleasant reception by the Ayada team who took us to the airport lounge, carried our bags and boarded us to the island. Upon disembarking, another big surprise was waiting for us to take us by boat to our final destination, arriving there, a warm welcome and Iqu, our assistant for a week, was waiting for us. Nothing could have been more perfect. Our villa inside the ocean and overlooking the sunset was perfect, the crystal clear water invited us every day for a swim. The wonderful restaurants, the employees always with a smile and ready for a good morning, good afternoon, good night. It was worth every hour until we got here … worth every penny invested. We chose the hotel because we wanted the island further away from Male … our choice was the best possible !! Ayada surprised us … she welcomed us and conquered us … she deserves all the accolades of the best hotel in the Maldives in all aspects !!! thank you for the wonderful week you have given us. Thank you Lizah for your attention, thank you Iqu … it was a pleasure meeting you. Thank you Maldives !!!

The staff are really great and try everything to make the stay prefect, they are professional and always smiling and willing to help.
The aqua villa is really beautiful, you have the nicest views even from your bathroom. You feel in the middle of the ocean and you see so many multicolored fish within meters from the villa. We have even saw a sea turtle and baby sharks from the villa. It is really private, you feel like you are the only one in there.
The food is delicious, it is nice that there are several restaurants and different cuisine themes per night. you are always immerced with a breach view under the palm trees.
The accompaniment of the Kandima team that starts in Malé airport all along until you leave Maldives is impressive. At each step of the way someone is waiting for you with a Kandima sign, ready to make your experience worryless, we really appreciated it.
I would definetely recommend Kandima as a great resort for a gateway, whether you are a couple or a family with toddlers.
Honeymoon package is really nice and we enjoyed every bit of it

Magical birthday stay… from the great service and speedboat transfer from the airport, this was truly paradise found. Will forever remember the water, the sand, and the breathtaking views from our upgraded Overwater villa, in which we received an upgrade in our meal package as well… food was healthy and excellent . Staff, namely Fathi, Maath and Zian were world class and made u feel completely welcome !

Maafushi is, overall, a great place – the people are friendly and welcoming. The weak point is definitely the services. When it comes to hotels, don’t expect luxury. In my opinion, for what you actually get, it’s overpriced.
One big plus is that Maafushi gives you more freedom. You’re not tied to a resort – you can move around, explore, go jogging if you want, and enjoy the island on your own terms. You can book trips easily, there’s stuff to do, and it doesn’t feel restrictive.

Hulhumale despite being busy like the rest of Male has an airy feel to it with lots of greenery - almost colonial. The East side is quiet for traffic although it's close to the seaplane flight paths - I didn't find that intrusive. The West side has the harbour with the ferry terminal and where the liveaboards anchor between trips. When I was there there had been a lot of recent building work so I would avoid staying there.
Lots of options for buying fresh fruit and vegentables if you need and a range of places to eat at different price ranges.

I loved the proximity to Male for ease of arrival and departure. I also loved looking at the city lights from afar, whilst being separated by stunningly turquoise waters and the gentle sounds of lapping waves. The marine life in the lagoon was plentiful and beautiful, and I had many marine visitors near my villa at all hours of the day. The snorkelling with sharks-excursion was probably the single best experience, but the resort itself was the star of the whole experience. The quality of the villa (amazing bed, wonderful toiletries from L'Occitane, the view, the constant refill of free fresh water and Nespresso coffee) and the rest of the resort (amazing food, world-class spa) was the stuff of holiday dreams!

We LOVED Dhiffushi!
We LOVED Dhiffushi! A real taste of a local island, the thing that struck us was how quiet and peaceful it was. We wandered everywhere on foot and loved that the roads are all sand. We were there in monsoon season and experienced some storms but they were short and everyone just gets on with stuff. There was some rubbish washed up on the non-hotel beach areas but most hotels keep their areas spotless. Both bikini beaches were absolutely stunning. Would definitely recommend Dhiffushi as a real gem of a local island. As an added bonus, we could not believe how cheap everything was too!

An amazing snorkelling beach -no boats or travel required -just thousands of colourful fish and turtles, perfect white sand and palm trees. The concession stand sold delicious, fresh-picked fruit-watermelon, papaya, bananas. We loved the Coccoa beach restaurant and the Black Anchor and the Mango House had fabulous lattes and desserts.

The most beautiful sea I have ever seen in my entire life. And mind you, I have visited many seas in many countries! For food, I recommend the restaurant at the Dhiguveli hotel and the Teapot restaurant. Getting around the island is very easy; you can reach any place quickly on foot. Don't miss going to the sandbank at one of the ends of the island.

I didn't like that the island lost most of it's green and I didn't see the wild nature I prefer. There was a lot of construction going on the moment I was there, I felt discomfort because of that. And maybe in 1-2 years it's going to be over I think. But on the other hand there's just amazing diving on the house reef and nearby reefs. There's a lot of nice restaurants and there was no day I felt bored.

Great Island, plenty to do and good snorkelling straight off Villa. Food, people and facilitiies were great - cannot fault. Deluxe water villas were a bit tired and really need a refurbishment - other than that great time in Kuramathi...
