This hotel faces the main plaza in Aguascalientes. Walk out the front door into the action of the day. Easy walking to small shops, museums and the cathederal. I loved the room and the lovely age and architecture of the hotel. It has been a hotel for more than 70 years and has been added onto over the years. Underground parking was very convenient but I never used my car in my 3 night there as walking was so easy. I would certainly stay here again.

I love this hotel , the property have everything what a guest needs , the hotel is so clean and so welcoming, the room are super comfortable and clean. I do recommend this hotel.. the parking area is very safe and they have someone a security person in the parking area. The service is great.

This is a beautiful hotel inside and out, it gives out a very relaxing vibe. The place is very quiet which helps sleep more comfortable. The breakfast and alcohol drinks tasted delicious. The staff was very accommodating.

restaurant (only open until 5pm!)

I love the quite and calmness of the city in the centre and is beautiful. The people is very calm and polite. I recommend people visit La Feria de San Marcos during the day because at night is very crowded and visit the Museums and assit to the plays in the Theatre is a wonderful experience and also buy the deshilado clothes, is a beautiful technique and the clothes made that way are extraordinary. In San Marcos Fair you can also try the traditional dishes and beverages of Aguascalientes or the typical candy from there. Calvillo also has traditional dishes thought is not in the city and is less populated. Always check the weather thought specially in winter and summer and travel day if you dont know the places you are visiting or if you go alone just as precaution. Overall the city is calm but the part I love is the centre because you can really know the place and walk and know very interesting people from different walks of life both nationals and foreigners. What I don't like is the gated communities in the North and South because their are mainly for people with cars and to get there walking is very lonely so I dont advise stay there specially if you travel by night, alone or with limited resources.
