JB has something for everyone and it can be extremely...
JB has something for everyone and it can be extremely fulfilling if you planned it carefully.
Shopping is aplenty and it depends on what kind of shopping you want. For mid - high end, go for Mid Valley Southkey. You also can't go wrong with most Aeon Malls for a good variety of shopping and food.
I have three boys so our itinerary centred around thrill-seeking:
1. Go-kart at RDU, Sutera Mall. The younger kid had a safe experience, while the older ones + adults got to live our their Fast and Furious dream.
2. ATV Park at Ekoflora (@atvparkjohor on Instagram) was amazing muddy adventure - fair warning: you are bound to get dirty so come with old clothes!
For something for everyone, we loved The Hidden Farm at Mount Austin! A petting farm with friendly staff, well maintained space and a good variety to look at including reptiles.
My favourite food find this trip were:
- The Founders for amazing pizza and cinnamon rolls at MidValley Southkey
- Woodfire for burgers
- Nasi Kandar Hijrah
- Rumah Singgah Roti very near to KSL had wonderful Roti Canai, Roti Sarang Burung with rendang in a quaint setting
- Dapo' Khaleeda had great nasi lemak and with delicious ayam goreng and satay.
Transportation everywhere was easy with the Grab app and I could easily select for 6 seater car option. They come quick too, so only book one when the group is assembled at the lobby.

We can say that the prize for the food was not cheap but the taste was not up to the standard. Even the prawn tasted like “ridsect”

You can experience that Coffee area like kampong times
Shopping at the Nearby Mail also is a good experience as if you consider the price over here is a bit most Expensive than those in JB
As we all know JB price on items is almost comparatively equal to Singapore.
150KM away will enjoy cheaper foods and items and also peaceful.

I frequently travel to Skudai to drop my sister off at UTM, and during our visits, we always enjoy brunch at Chamek Kopitiam, where the food is truly exceptional. You should definitely try their dishes – everything tastes amazing!
If you're a shopaholic, I highly recommend spending a couple of days at Paradigm Mall, as it offers a wide range of stores to explore.

Kulai is not just a 1 Day Stop-Over. I spent 4 Days here and even without visiting the Tourist Attractions like Putuo Village, Gunung Pulai or Kulai Monkey Mountain, I still enjoyed myself with all the Foods available.

Nice place. Good durians and fruits.
Nice place. Good durians and fruits. The food is authentic and tasty. Kluang rail coffee restaurant is nice. The toast all are very good. Also the neighborhood several small shops which sell good items. My wife enjoy the shopping of RM2.40 items in ECO shop. Overall nice place.

Many restaurants available nearby hotel, so the traveller guest can select the place according to his/her individual choice of food. I generally used to eat at restaurant OSMAN OR restaurant HABIB. Try to have some Food/Beverage at Restoran BANAFEE Seri Alam near TODAY's mall. One can buy fresh fruits and other necessary shopping at TODAY's mall nearby. Pharmacy shops are available nearby in walking distance, which is very good. Possible for the travellers to connect to other cities in Malaysia from TBPG (Terminal Bas Pasir Gudang).

Those love the nature, quiet and peaceful place will be happy to come here. Really peaceful. They also have lots of seafood restaurants and fresh cooking. Delicious. Not fussy person, I think it will be good to come here and escape from busy hectic life schedule in town.
