Staying at Baia Sonambula was outstanding. The room (#1) I stayed in was magnificant. The staff was lovely and overdelivered. They went above and beyond during my stay. Ria, the owner, runs an excellent hostel. She is very warm, friendly and inviting, as are the staff who are constantly working, cleaning and maintaining the beautiful property. Very clean rooms and grounds and a huge well stocked kitchen. Location is outstanding and I highly recommend staying here. Plus, you get 5% discount at Tofo SCUBA.

What a find! CozyBe has new, beautiful villas tucked back on a quiet street just a short walk from the beach. There are only a few apartments and they are very well done. Modern and clean with AC. The moved us to a larger room with a big king bed + twin bed (as we were traveling with our daughter) and there was a small kitchen attached. You could actually add a 2nd bedroom to this to sleep 5 (the other room was locked off). Fernando was the most excellent host! Helpful and kind, he is the best. You can access the beach from the Kumba lodge which is just short walk from their place, which is then about a 15 minute walk to the edge of town. Fernando mentioned they have been very slow as they are relatively new. Stay here, you won't be disappointed for the price.

Elias was an excellent host/manager. Checked in often to make sure we were comfortable. Great location on the beach and near shopping and restaurants. Great housekeeper who made sure we had everything we needed and came daily.
