- From $136.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 511 reviewsWe stumbled upon this little gem as a pitstop on our drive from Windhoek and Luderitz. Upon arriving at our destination all my wife and friend could talk about was the "little hotel in Aus". I immediately cancelled the remainder of our time in Luderitz and booked the Bahnhof hotel and it remains a highlight of our holiday. As a hotelier of 19 years, every bit of this stay exceeded my expectations. All the small touches, especially the surprising turndown with a hot water bottle and handmade chocolate, exceeded what I assumed would be modest services in a small town hotel. The peace and staff were what makes this place, but one cannot ignore the general good maintenance and cleanliness.Guest review byRobertSouth Africa

sweet little town with beautiful history, the bays are very interesting. the Portuguese fisherman is a good restaurant as well as Essenzeit. Diaz point is very fun when windy, unfortunately the rock church is closed most of the time so you can not go inside this is very sad. And Lüderitz has a lot of beggars especially around spar. this is also not so nice.Guest review byFechterNamibia - 10.0
Aus is clean and safe.
Aus is clean and safe. The people are very helpful and friendly. From there one could go to see the desert horses, Kolmanskop and Lüderitz etc. Lüderitz is no longer a sleepy fishing village and has become quite industrial - too busy for me. The camping spots I believe has remained as good as alwaysGuest review byPierSouth Africa - 8.0
Kolmanskop and a drive to Diaz Cross is a must.
Kolmanskop and a drive to Diaz Cross is a must. Visiting the old church on the hill was an unforgettable experience. Although new developments sadly the town is in decline. The old German character is fading away. Beautiful views with different landscapes on the road in. Spergebiedt tours is not affordable for SADC country members.Guest review byLeonSouth Africa - 10.0
I just loved the atmosphere of the town.
I just loved the atmosphere of the town. We walked into a buzzing, busy Saturday morning. It was awesome. When we started looking for a place near the beach where we would scatter my late husband's ashes, it was easy to find such a place. There were many youngsters in the same area, but they were very respectful and we could finish what we were there for. I will definitely visit Luderitz again under happier circumstances.Guest review byClarice
