The view on the Ijssel was amazing, the room is so big and the bath is wonderful. I would truly recommend everybody to stay here. You are in the city center already and Deventer is a very cute city.

UkraineI can’t remember the last time I was so impressed by either B&B or hotel. The whole atmosphere of the place is truly fabulous - you get the combination of an authentic Dutch village with the high end boutique hotel experience.
Though we were initially a bit disappointed by the fact that we had a room with a shared bathroom (we didn’t pay attention to the description while making a reservation), it appeared to be absolutely fine - we had 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets on the floor, just a few steps from the room, and since we happened to be the only
guests on the ground floor, everything was for our personal use only.
It was also not quite obvious from the photos on Booking that there’s a tiny kitchen with everything you might needed to cook yourself a decent meal or simply have a snack with a cup of coffee or tea (unlimited access to tea/coffee for all the quests is a huuuge plus).
There’s even a separate TV room with a comfy couch and Netflix. How cool is that!
Though the one thing that literally stole my heart is the outdoor area.
I wish we could stay longer to simply enjoy this place and relax from the city hustle.
100/10!

Very nice property, ideal for family events or leisure with friends. Friendly and helpful staff.
Good facilities (starting from different devices, furniture etc. and finishing with a sauna where you can chill at the end of the day and then have a nice sleep on a comfortable bed and comfy pillows :). Spacious leaving room, pleasant interior.
This time we didn't order breakfast (simply because we had enough of our food during the New Year Eve period). But we ordered breakfast when we stayed at the same villa in summer and it was really good (standard set, but everything was super fresh, testy and big portions). The restaurant is nice, some dishes were suuuper delicious (I like sea food and sometimes just followed recommendations of waiters and never regretted about it). Worth mentioning that the whole area was well prepared for the Christmas and New Year period, nice decorations gave some atmosphere of magic and winter fairytale. Unfortunately rainy weather got you back to reality, but the interior of the restaurant itself made you forget about weather conditions for a while.

The staff was very friendly and understanding, and they went out of their way to accommodate us when we needed help (such as booking a Taxi). The rooms are immaculate. Breakfast was very fresh and included a wide variety of food. The hotel has a restaurant, and the food is really good. There is also a very small gym, but big enough to have a good workout. The necessary machines are all available. The only restaurant adjacent to the hotel is McDonald's. However, a 5-minute bus takes you to the village. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from within the town. The reception is well-equipped with chairs and tables that are business-orientated. This means that if you are meeting someone for a meeting, staying in the reception area gives you adequate space for a meeting. There are charging points, etc...

Have been here multiple times; always a delight staying at Hoog Holten. Nice location, very friendly staff trying to let you feel honored. The quality at the restaurant is pretty impressive. Good breakfast. Also appreciated the charging point for EV's.

I picked Zwolle as I didn't want to stay in a large city.
I picked Zwolle as I didn't want to stay in a large city. Zwolle proved a good choice as I travelled around by train and Zwolle had direct train connections to all the places I wanted to visit. Zwolle is a very interesting town with a good mix of historic building and it's own canal system. It also had an awry of specialist shops, if looking for retail therapy. The centre had many restaurants to choose from.

Good base for the Hanzestedenpan walks along River Ijsell. Close to good transport links for day trips to Zwolle, Zutphen, Kampen and Amersfoort.
Enjoyed Museum de Waag,Lebuinuskerk, De Heks and Davo brewery.
Lovely place. More than enough to do in a week in local area.

We stayed in Kampen whilst visiting Wildeberg festival in Kraggenburg, the town itself is very lovely, and the train station is easily accessible to get to Zwolle which is a town we visited for the day! If you have bike/car Kampen is easy to get around, also the buses are very regular and good for jumping on and off :)

A fine traditional village in a stunningly beautiful region of idyllic nature. In my opinion the woods, the heath and the Regge stream are the best features. There are many villages and hamlets in the area, with ample opportunity for grocery shopping and eating out.

Zwolle is a safe, lovely city, yet - there are good shopping possibilities.
Many green areas, general cleanliness, not too much graffiti or stickers (compared to larger cities like Rotterdam).
The cherry on top of the cake is a lovely cat café (where you can order a delicious cake and pet a cute cat).

Lovely town and very relaxing lovely for a short break, very easy to get there from the airport. I think the train is the best and easiest option. Beautiful cheese shop in central of the town amazing restaurants my favourite was Da Mario Logo or sandwich bar for lunch lovely staff and very friendly they were all nice. The sweet shop was a bit over priced. Beautiful little shops eg. With antiques. You can rent a very nice and comfortable bicycles. I enjoyed staying in the Finch hotel but everyone have different preferences.

Zwolle is my favourite town in the Netherlands, full of life, bars and nice buildings. Everything is in a walking distance. You can find lots of restaurants, pubs or just buy something in a supermarket and chill along the river. It's really worth a visit!

An amazingly beautiful and buzzing Hanseatic town with a huge history. Just wandering around aimlessly is a experience in itself. The musea, churches and architecture are hard to surpass. Lots of small craft stores, artisan outlets and smart places to eat, especially around the Brink and in the Berg quarter. The possibilities are endless and well worth the dffort.
