NetherlandsWe were here for one night only with 10 colleagues. Julia at the reception was very friendly and helpful, they even let us sit in the breakfast room in the evening to have some privacy and play our own music, very thankful for that.
Rooms were simple but enough for night. Shared bathrooms very clean and ok.
We also had dinner here and that was also nice.

UkraineExceptionally good value. The hostel sits right on the edge of the West-Terscheling settlement. It is feasible to go on foot to/from the ferry. The view from the large shared bedrooms is onto the wadden sea. You'll be able to see tides come and go no matter the weather.
The included breakfast is really good as well.

We had a great experience in a quiet and comfortable setting at a convenient location. The dinners at the hotel restaurant were very good. They had so many bicycles and the rental service was well-organized. The hotel personnel was very friendly and kind. I would choose this hotel again on a next visit.

Loved the location as it was a short distance from the dock and near all the stores and restaurants. Really great breakfast bar with fresh bread. Staff was very friendly and made my stay so much better. Really big shower and a very clean room.

Everything was perfect.
The location, in central West-Terschelling, 5 minutes from the ferry terminal, was ideal.
Fabulous restaurants nearby with fish and "vruchten van de zee".
Come with, on the ferry, or hire a bike at the hotel.

Cosy, well laid out, new kitchen and comfortable furniture. Location is excellent, close to wonderful dune area, and great walking and biking routes. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and makes one feel at home immediately.

This was our second visit to Terschelling.
This was our second visit to Terschelling. So much to see and do! We already have a list started for our next visit. We loved biking (and trying out a tandem!). Next time we would like to see if the kids can catch any crabs and try taking a boat ride.
Several yummy take out options. This was great since restaurants closed across the country.

We visited the areas on the island where grandparents were born, lived and died. We enjoyed Midsland so much and West Terschelling as well. We didn't have time to visit other areas as were only there for two short days! It was a two day visit in our 12 day travel. Our two days on Terschelling were the highlight of our trip. (We really enjoyed the ferry each way as well! We got to see the sunset on our trip to the island and the sunrise on our return trip to the mainland. We would highly recommend a visit to all of the island. We hope to return!

Beautiful beaches, offering deep water horse riding,surfing,all kinds of bootcamps. Neat clean beaches,dogs allowed.
But you need a bike,you’ll drive 4,3km to Midsland where you find 2-3 shops,grocery store + nice restaurants or bars.
Or you ride back to Terschelling where the ferry doks.you’ll find a beautiful bigger village:shops,bars,restaurants,hop on a boat to see Seagulls in their natural surroundings. It was amazing.There’s no other restaurant in West am Zee.
