The hotel is located right on the sand dunes facing both the beach and the forest behind. Facilities including the rooms are recently updated. There are still some indications that this hotel has been here for a long time entertaining beachside holiday makers, but that in my opinion adds to its charm. Staff were very friendly. Pool and wellness areas were very nice additions especially on a rainy winters day. The sauna's were really large, with plenty of room to soak up the heat.

Located 5 mi from Vlieland's harbor and center, Hotel Posthuys offers nonsmoking accommodations and an eatery open during the day.

The location was fantastic, right in the middle of nature, which made it very peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast was delicious and offered plenty of choice, with more than enough space to enjoy it comfortably. The rooms were very spacious with a comfortable bed, and everything felt clean and well looked after. On top of that, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

Located a 5-minute walk away from the ferry service, Het Vlielandhotel is located on Vlieland and has free WiFi access available. Rooms here come with a private bathroom.

The location is great. Middle of it all.. Room with a Seaview is the best! Loved it. Peaceful to wake up to that or sit at the balcony with the sun. Staff are super friendly and professional. Always helpful and welcoming. Nice that next to the hotel, there is a bar where you can have some drinks and fun before going to bed. The breakfast buffet was also good and with variety. In overall, a great place to stay when visiting lovely Vlieland.

Very spacious room with everything we needed for a weekend stay. The staff was nice and allowed for luggage storage prior to check-in.
