- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,031 reviewsFollow my IG lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more details about our Moorea and Bora Bora trip. If you've got the impression that a Bora Bora escape requires shelling out around $2500 per night for a hotel, let me reassure you—it's not the case. Our five-night stay at Royal Bora Bora was a genuine delight. The place is impeccably clean, the rooms offer cozy comfort, and the lush interior garden adds a touch of tropical luxury. Conveniently situated right on the beach, next to the former Sofitel Bora Bora, we were welcomed at reception with a charming floral garland. They even handed us cards for a beach towel and snorkeling gear, sparing us the trouble of packing those essentials. We snagged a deal at $240 per night, inclusive of breakfast, thanks to a reservation on Booking. Plus, being right on the beach, Royal Bora Bora made our stay both affordable and incredibly enjoyable. It's proof that you can have a fantastic Bora Bora experience without breaking the bank. Also, the hotel is close to restaurants and the breathtaking Matira Public Beach. If you're feeling like indulging in a luxurious hotel experience, consider opting for a day pass at renowned establishments such as St. Regis, Intercontinental Thalasso, Intercontinental Le Moana, Four Seasons, and Le Bora Bora. Prices vary from $60 to $280 per person, offering a range of inclusions. Stay tuned for upcoming posts detailing the unique offerings at each. - Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 155 reviewsI wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the incredible experience we had during our two-night stay at your beautiful resort. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by your friendly staff, who made us feel right at home. The bungalow was absolutely stunning – comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully designed with every detail considered. The views of the lagoon and surrounding nature were simply breathtaking. It truly felt like a paradise retreat. We especially enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the sense of privacy, which made for a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the effort put into ensuring that every guest's needs were met. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from your team. Whether it was arranging a tour, recommending local activities, or just offering a warm smile, every interaction left me with a sense of being valued as a guest. The attention to detail was evident throughout my stay, and it made my time at Bora Bora Bungalove feel all the more special.Guest review byGEORGESUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 49 reviewsTea was exceptional with response time she’s the absolute best, but it gets better you arrive and then you meet Joël and Tatiana which are the best if the best host!! Tea does her best to tell you how it’s going to be and it’s all true everything she tells you but it goes above and beyond that when you arrive. We can’t wait to come back, the facility is everything a soul needs to escape! It’s not you resort style stay so if you looking for that keep scrolling this is for the hippies and explorers at heart not saying you don’t get resort style accommodations you just don’t get the other folks around you!! I can’t thank the entire team enough seriously, I wired Tea months in advanced and was kinda scared doing so not going to lie….. but it was the best decision I’ve made to date for a stay out of the country and I WILL BE WIRING HER AGAIN!!!! Book this place if you want peace and tranquility with no one around except Tatiana and Joel and even then you can ask for them not to come over I guess, but that’s be a huge mistake!! mauruuru and manuia, Kayne CunaginGuest review bycunaginUnited States
- From 3,051.56 lei per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 843 reviewsGreat location on the main island. Lovely bungalows that are spacious, clean and comfortable. Excellent beds. The rooms we were in seemed recently renovated. Staff is very nice and helpful. Service with changing to an overwater bungalow was impeccable. The beach restaurant was decent. The hotel is close to other restaurants and shops. Snorkeling in front of the hotel is okay. Plenty of tropical fish, eagle rays and maybe a shark or turtle if you’re lucky. The hotel offers tours for snorkeling, but you can also book something yourselves and get picked up at the pier in front of the hotel.Guest review byMartijnusNetherlands
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.3Good - What previous guests thought, 21 reviewsThe location was fabulous right across from a beautiful quiet beach. Close walk to resort if you would like a nicer meal out. Market and rental equipment are all very handy. The host was so incredibly helpful ,especially when my mom became sick and we needed medical help. She even checked in 2 weeks afterwards to see if she was feeling better.Guest review byaudreyUnited States
- From 638.07 lei per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 550 reviewsHosts were very kind and helpful. Location was good, not a long walk to supermarkets and all you need in Vaitape. 30 min pretty scenic bike to Matira beach. Kitchen in the room had all the basics in terms of tools/cookware and the outdoor terrace was a great spot to have a coffee in the rain with a view. Really enjoyed our stay here!Guest review byJuliaCanada

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.Guest review byDorisNew Zealand - 10.0
Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
