CanadaWe were very impressed with our stay at Charms hotel. The staff was super helpful/friendly. The rooms were extremely clean and comfy with lots of room. The pool was nice and clean and we had it to ourselves for most of the time. It is very close to the city (we opted to take a tricycle ride into town which was only about 5min long). You can catch the tricycle outside of the hotel. Close to town but away from all the noise! I'd highly recommend dinners at Pacifico in downtown Coron!

I love the architecture, the wooden stairs made of hardwood, and most especially the chess board! Also, the food was delicious! It was not repetitive. The room which was a junior suite was very spacious! I got to relax so hard by the poolside underneath the dwarf coco trees. The air was fresh and we did not smell any smoke or pollution. What we don’t like that was there was not enough tissue rolls/toiletries. There were only 2 bars of soap, one for handwashing, the other for bathing. Also, the bath towels were not large enough. The pillows were not fluffy. It felt old and made our head ached. There was no complimentary rides from the port of Coron, we have to pay a tricycle to go to the hotel. Nonetheless, it was a pleasurable stay.

The service was definitely exceptional! Would definitely come back and book with the same resort. Calling for tricycles and shuttle service was convenient. Moreso, for the tours if booked with the resort since they provide you with the towels as well. Our room was upgraded and it was such a perfect view of the entire hotel. The breakfast buffet was amazing as well and was very much worth the price! I really enjoyed my stay here. Will surely recommend this place to others.

The room is very clean, the facilities are new, and I'm most satisfied with the front desk service. They handle scooter rentals, airport transfers, and have information on diving shops and travel agencies in Two seasons bayside hotel. Since we switched rooms on the last day, the staff considerately moved our luggage to the new room. Also, just inform the front desk for scooter rental and return; the service is attentive and thoughtful.

magical location. it was fantastic staying on a private island and it made the stay very special.
taking the boat to the island was very easy and the staff were very accomodating.
we had two more quieter days there which were perfect.
AC was great and Wifi too.
rooms were very spacious and you can’t beat the magical sea view from your room!

The attention provided by the staff is flawless, and everything is very well organised. As I was badly sunburnt to my legs and could only walked painfully, the ladies at the reception sent someone to the drugstore for me. The restaurant is also very good, especially when the Filipino dishes are concerned.

The damage from the previous typoons is still present. There are numerous bars, I recommend the Pacifico Bar, they have Octoberfest sized mugs to hold the Red Horse Beer. It is 50 Pesos each way from the hotel to town and back. On the island tours, the outhouses are the absolute bare minimum, a toilet, no seat, no tank, no TP, a bucket and a ladle and no sink. Wear grippy water shoes, the stairs are slippery. Go see the Coral Garden, elsewhere all the other fish are <5" and no coral. Unless you go to the the Coral Garden, the crystal kayak is a waste of money. Still I had a great time, the staff did an amazing job, life is an adventure!

The wow factor was definitely at Twin Lagoons and Kayangan Lake. Loved swimming and snorkelling although coming from Australia, the corals and fish were a bit underwhelming. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in Coron Town. We especially liked the french restaurant Armihan Bistro, Poco Deli (next door to Epic Cafe) and Le Voyage. All catered for Gluten Free meals as well. Tuk Tuks are plentiful and easy to catch. 50 pesos for 2 peoples to take you anywhere within the town boundaries. We also walked to the hilltop lookout Mt Tapayas .. but beware, there's 720 steps to climb to get to the top from the car park!!!

The calamian group of islands of which Coron is part of, is beautiful. And I hope all the measures to keep it pristine and unlittered will be successful always. There are many breathtaking sights.
You would need a sizable budget though to be able to enjoy the boat tours which are wonderful.
If you have the time, visit Culion. It is historical (a UNESCO site), and while the places to see could do a little tidying up, nevertheless, the history of that place invites reflection and inspires--many heroic people lived on that island. Kudos to the religious who have kept the place going since it was first established. The Culion museum should be your first stop.
