Sunsets like you've never seen. There's sea activities if you want or just chillax in the multiple pools or topaz sea with talcum sand. The bar is incredible. The amphitheatre pool is just quirky. This has become THE place to stay for 1-3 nights if you're visiting Panglao, Bohol.

Had a great night sleep, the bed was very comfortable and seems to be in a quiet area, but still just a few min walk to the center. The owner/manager was also very kind and helpful. I would stay longer but unfortunately it was already fully booked.

Its our first time to visit Panglao Island.
Its our first time to visit Panglao Island. And we had a bery good experience with the Bohol Panglao international airport staff. What happened was my friend forgot his 2 and a half rim of imported Marlboro in the male bathroom. After 5 hours we came back to the airport and checked with the staff at the airport. Within less than 5 minutes the package is back to us. So thank you for this very positive experience provided to us..
Regarding with our accommodation, we stayed at Alona Vida hotel for 5d4n and we had a a great time. From the staff especially to Arlene who allowed us for a very early check in at 8 am😍. The room provided is a beach front, so the view is absolutely amazing from sunrise to sundown. Room is immaculately clean, with free welcome drinks plus basket of ripe mangoes.
About location, its great, located in the very famous Alona beach and walking distance to the famous alona strip where different restaurants and shops are located..
Also, the hotel is just around 4 kilometers away from the airport..

Except for the area in Alona, riding a motorcycle is very safe.

Panglao is busy, bustling and full of restaurants, bars and a spectacular beach. Very easy to get to different places. Full of young people seeming to have the best time, and opportunities to dive, snorkle and travel from there very easily.

Really recommend Bohol Farm!
Really recommend Bohol Farm! Their ice cream is incredible, and the food is great too. We got a tour of the farm, which was super nice.
Getting around is quite easy, there are three main road that go around the island, and there are tuktuks for hire everywhere. I rented a moped, which actually felt quite safe, as there were few big cars.
Alona beach is definitely worth a visit. I'd recommend doing a countryside tour too, to see a lot of the sights of Bohol in one day.

We have not maximized our Panglao trip but since we rented an Oceanview room, we get all the sea energy we needed haha. Virgin Island was also close during our stay so we have to come back for that some other time. Beach in general is perfect especially Alona Beach side.

You can get enough of the non-oceanic tourist attractions in 2 days. The snorkeling is why I love it. You need to go to a Marine Sanctuary for the good snorkeling, although a few resorts have decent house reefs. DON'T go on one of the snorkeling/island hopping tours which are promoted at many places, especially by hawkers at Alona Beach. None of the boat motors have mufflers. They will leave you at a substandard restaurant on Balicasag Island for an outrageous length of time. Tag along on a dive boat, which you can arrange at most dive shops.
