The dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast were exceptional, not to mention the location, in the middle of the green and with a small zoo with animals including a deer, parrots, peacocks and others. The staff is so friendly and welcomed us with a smile, everything seems to be taken care of in detail. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful Breakfast Basket delivered to the cottage each morning (freshly baked bread & croissants, ham & cheese, jam & butter, fruit, yoghurt, scrambled eggs, milk, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice.). The swimming pool and lapa area is straight out of a magazine! The entire quinta is quiet and well maintained. The manageress, Lita, is wonderful and provides the most amazing service (from restaurant suggestions to explaining everything)

The room was really really comfortable, with lots of space, a big desk, chair and a small sofa. Also, I had a terrace with 2 chairs. The breakfast is very good, the restaurant is big and there are 2 lanes for the buffet.
There are 2 pools (indoors and outdoors). The location is excellent and the view is great (garden and pool). I will definitely go back.

The location is amazing for those that like quietness in the 'Serra d'Aire e Candeeiros'. It's a few km from 'Grutas de Alvalados' (and the other 'grutas') and there are plenty of tracks for those that like walking. It is also very near the pituresque village of 'Porto de Mós'.

Don’t miss the opportunity to visit the homes of the three children. This was an incredible experience!
It made the Fatima experience real for us, as the homes and neighborhood are preserved as they were when the children lived there. The houses are full of memorobilia of the family.

The Centro historico was fun and exciting to explore.
The Centro historico was fun and exciting to explore. It is very compact with lots of churches. The Jardim do Sol were very pleasant. Very walkable place once you get to the top. All the normal grocery stores available.
Try the Pampillos, very good local confectionary. We particularly liked Cafe Bijou.

A small village atmosphere with great local restaurants serving fresh fish, only 40 minutes from Lisbon.
New fusion restaurants are springing up which adds to variety.

Pedestrian friendly town center.
Pedestrian friendly town center. Great views from an absolutely beautiful park by the castle. It's overlooked as a good tourist destination. A new museum has just opened that is definately worth seeing.

Rio Maior os a hidden gem with with great restaurants that serves local food, a salt farm with lots of history and a cute tiny village around it that got turned into a tourist attraction. Great place to watch the sunset, have a drink and shop local/handmade stuff.
Around Rio Maior there are plenty of places to visit, like mountain views, hiking trails and caves.
Also very central... 39 minutes from Nazareth (where the giant waves are) and from Óbidos, a medieval city with a huge city wall, very well preserve. It's absolutely an amazing place to visit.

A nice small town with all the amenities one needs. It has an old town area surrounding a castle. Inside the castle is mostly a park but the perimeter and walls surrounding it has a number of view points worth exploring. In front of it, there are a number of cafes and bars covered from the sun and a number of trees providing shade. There is an ATM in the square which is useful. Streets near the old town are narrow but full of quaint charming shops to pick up a souvenir or two.

Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like horses, and kids learning to ride you'ĺl love it.
Cleaning was very good also the room with shower etc.
Fridge a bit small and wanky door but for the rest perfect.

We loved the peacefull place, we were at 3 minutes away from Proença a nova by car, had great views.Great place to stay.
The house had everyng we needed to cook and was a really great vacations.

Fatima is a must-do trip, especially if you are a Christian.
Fatima is a must-do trip, especially if you are a Christian. You can feel and experience the sanctity of the Sanctuary. Even though it can get quite crowded, you feel the spirit and the positive energy that everyone brings with them, and it does not feel like a crowded tourist place at all.
People are kind and helfpul. A couple of days is enough to cover all the sites, and spend time for prayer and reflection.
