The hosts are incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready to help and make you feel at home. The location is quiet and relaxing, yet also a great base for exploring the beautiful surroundings of Miercurea Ciuc.
The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the common areas, including the terrace, are perfect for spending quality time together. It truly feels like a “home away from home.”
We highly recommend Timian Chalet and we are already considering booking a longer stay there.

It's nice quiet. We got the "Hovirag" house which is the closest to the restaurant. It was clean and cozy. Staff was kind and helpful, they try to help with any problem you have. You will not have the possibility to choose between types of foods but what you get is delicious :) There are 2 parking places you can use, you can pay with card. You may meet with 2 friendly dogs and a cat at the yard.

After all day ride with motorcycle this property was exactly what we need. Great location, rooms very clean. Very friendly staff. Pool was perfect! I have asked to wash my clothes and they agree with no extra cost. Really highly recommend this place.

Small town, it still has a few interesting things, like...
Small town, it still has a few interesting things, like hockey and ice skating that is one of the sports that is popular in the region. There is also a castle and a pedestrian street with different shops restaurants and cultural houses, I went to a house of music where they had csángó music that was interesting.

Not a good destination unless you are there for spa treatment. There is almost nothing else to do except for couple of experiences which usually are not available as there are too few people around. Bear presence is extremely likely which makes hiking impossible.

Nice little Hungarian town in the heart of Székelyföld.
Nice little Hungarian town in the heart of Székelyföld. The houses and buildings are well kept, many of them renovated. Nice town center , well maintained town. Pleasant to walk around. You get a real Székelyföld feeling if you go there.

We were in transit, driving through from one location to the next. The town has everything we needed (baks, some shopping). No time for sightseeing, in the past we enjoyed a visit at an old monastery with a beautiful park about 10 min from the hotel.

Gorgeous location , famous for its mineral water sources. Not very much to do except walking and drinking water from the fountains. Few shops, but several good restaurants. Perfect place to relax and write one's memories !

Gheorgheni is a small city, with a fortified church and nice streets, but not more than 3 hours are necessary for visiting it.
Even so, it is very well placed, at a reasonable distance from Rosu Lake, Bobsleigh track Lacul Rosu and Bicazului Gorges.

based on my travel plans it was just right.
based on my travel plans it was just right. You have basic shops near by, a couple of restaurants were you can have something from the local cuisine, and more or less a proper distance between sight seeing objectives in the area.

Nice town, excellent base if you want to make daily tours in the Hargita/Gyergyo region. The museum in the castle is a pearl: not too big, but extraordinarily rich in content, arranged with heart and utmost skill.
