The location is exceptional. Just in front of Gate 305 of the Prophet's mosque. Calm, cozy hotel with excellent food and very clean rooms. The exact kind of place you need for a pleasant stay in the Prophet's neighborhood. I needed this trip for relaxing my stressed head, and this was the perfect hotel to do so. I was welcomed by brother Jameel, who granted me a luxurious, free meal per day during my stay. This saved me so much time (besides money, of course) which I went to use very well, sitting in the mosque without worrying about anything. I almost paid no money during my trip, and didn't have to go hunting for restaurants around. It also saved my first day, since I arrived exactly 75m before Fajr (in Ramadhan!) - but the food was just ready. I started eating less than 15m after arriving, and made it to Fajr prayer inside the mosque very easily (despite how crowded it is during Ramadhan)! The room was very clean and had everything. I was actually surprised to see the hotel rated at 3-stars, the service is just 5-stars. Even the USB and USB-C chargers where available in the room, which saved me a lot of headache (charging in KSA is different than in Europe, so I didn't have the correct plug). Thank you, guys! This is definitely my place-to-stay in the future, إن شاء الله. I hope you always keep your standards so high.

    We came basically on the trail of Lawrence of Arabia, we were lucky to stay at Retaj Hotel close to the harbor and old quarter that we could easily walk to it as much as we wanted. However it was mid June during Eid ul Adha, shops and visitors attractions were closed, the city was quiet, and the heat and humidity kept us indoors most of our three day visit. Still it was fascinating to be in the city at this time, we didn't see much of Yanbu to make a judgement but we were grateful to make it, as it was our jump off point onwards to Umluj as well. The Yanbu Airport, by the way, was very impressive, and I love the long avenue of fire trees out to the highway. Neat and green landscaping made a great impression for us first time visitors. All in all a memorable visit to this part of Saudi Arabia, before we final exit as expats to start our retirement.

    The ambience of this city is unique.

    The ambience of this city is unique. You probably haven't seen anything like it. Neat, quiet, clean city surrounded by rocky mountains. Lots of historical places to visit - elephant rock, old town, moraya, Hegra, all amazing, picturesque places, like from a storybook. I travelled for a marathon and the route was breath-taking.

    A two bedroom apartment with two bathrooms, a lounge and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is located in a nice new neighbourhood close to Al Rashid Mega Mall. The apartment had its own designated parking and was around 10 - 15 minutes drive to Masjid e Nabwi by car. The owner a was a polite gentlemen who took us through the apartment before handing over the keys to us. The apartment also had a massage chair and had everything that you may require including a stacked fridge, an iron and iron board, electric kettle, utensils, crockery and washing machine etc. A definite value for money for 4 - 5 people and highly recommended.

    I stayed 2nd time in this facility.

    I stayed 2nd time in this facility. Last time I gave overall rating 5. But this round my over all experience was good and I gave Rating 8 They improved a lot as compare to last time. I recommend this facility if you are visiting Madinah for any purpose . It is not far from Masjid Al Nabawi hardly 20-25 min walk and you can go by car also.

    The residence was beautiful, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The room was spacious and featured a cozy Arabic sitting area (majlis), adding a traditional touch. The furniture was plentiful, offering ample storage space for your belongings, and was of excellent quality. The room also included a desk, providing additional convenience. Overall, it offered great value for money.

    Just wanted to add, if possible, to fix the location on booking.com. when I shared the location with the driver through booking.com it took us to another location and had to search again in google. and to also, if possible, to fix the name of the hotel in English. it's not matching the Arabic which was the reason of the confusion in the location. Thank you.

    It is very close to the Prophet's masjid.

    It is very close to the Prophet's masjid. The moment you step out of the hotel the masjid gate is a few steps away. The only disappoint was, though the booking.com says check-in is at 4pm but the hotel reception displayed a board stating it is 6pm. Also the staff are not friendly and proactive. Does not give much attention or care.

    Getting there by car is a long journey from Riyadh. The city has some well developed areas by the royal commission. Those areas are beautiful and clean and well maintained. Rest of the city is very simple and basic. Waterfronts are good and beaches are clean.
