MoldovaI liked valet parking! Hotel is very easy to find, to park a car, to check in and they just take car keys and they park it and even charged our electric car by our request! Fantastic!
Hairdryer had different speed mode and which is more important different temperature mode! So I like to dry at the mid temperature (not cold not hot).
The restaurant is good and has nice working hours.
Good aeration system.
Free bathrobe in the room.
Breakfast was exceptional!!! Nice variety of fruits, meat/salmon, cucumber salad, egg/omleta handmade, fresh and there was my favorite bakery desert!
Kettle in the room along with coffee machine.
Electric outside rollet to close the window completely.
Useful TV!
Clean floor, no smell in the room, freshness.

This was our third time staying at Hotel Histrion, and it never disappoints! We stayed with our three kids, and it was the perfect family getaway. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options that everyone in the family enjoyed. The highlight for us was definitely the amazing pool area—our kids had so much fun, and we appreciated how well-maintained and family-friendly everything was.
Hotel Histrion is truly a great place for families, and that’s why we keep coming back. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

We had a very lovely weekend at hotel Riviera! We loved our room, it was new, modern, comfortable and it was big. We loved the sea view from our room! We booked a room without a balcony but we got a room with a balcony without extra charge and we loved it! The staff were kind and the food was delicious! Especially the dinner!

Everything! The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely, the food was lovely, the whole hotel was beautiful. The distance to Piran was great, Piran was also beautiful. We had a lovely time here. Slovenia is very clean, the people are very nice, I recommend it to everyone.

Portoroz is a nice city directly at the sea. A nice market place in the inner city with many nice shops, restaurants, bars. Stroll around the small streets and discover unexpected places.
There are many things you may do.
But take your time, sit down and watch the scenery.

Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and well mapped walking trail. to wonder around, although parking is not free anywhere near the centre , which we hate, hate paying for parking and worrying about the time we need, time we have etc! Spoils your holiday but it's mostly the same all over Slovenia , I feel sorry for businesses as you have to take into account the extra if you just want to stop for a coffee and so decide not to!

Izola, along with its surrounding small villages, is like the Slovenian version of the Italian Cinque Terre. We visited in October, and the weather was great, with a level of tourists that was quite acceptable.

What a beautiful, historic, charming town that most people have never heard of! One of Slovenia's best-kept secrets! I took the ferry from Piran to Venice, which is why I came here. But I wish I could have stayed a few days more to fully explore the area, which is absolutely lovely!

Nice, serene small town located in a nature park, with several walking trails and interesting sights. Not too many beaches, but there are a couple of acceptably good ones. No nightlife; limited dining and shopping options. Excellent for quiet relaxation.

Cool, intimate and quiet place, not as crowded as Piran or Isola. For those who prefer less crowded places, a little more off the beaten track. The port in Koper is no problem when it comes to enjoying the charms of the Adriatic in Ankaran.

The house with the two apartments is simply great - there is absolutely everything you need, its spaceous, super clean, very well equipped, the AC works very well as well as wifi. The location is great to get to any touristic spots, or the sea coast. Its very quiet. The instructions provided by the landlady were timely and very clear.

Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between Ljubljana and Koper. It is very close to both Lipica and to skočjanske Jame. These caves are my favourites in Slovenia, although not to be visited if you have a problem walking.. The park surrounding the caves is very beautiful too.
Divača itself is quiet, but has a Cinema museum, which is popular with those interested in early silent films.
There area few trains three each day, and also a bus service during the week. Not at the weekend, however, as I found to my cost on another occasion when I drove a friend's car home for her - and then found there were no buses on Saturdays by which to travel back to the coast!, and the next train would have kept me late for my meeting. Luckily, there were others around to heading the same way.
While Skočjam and Lipica are open all year, there are also smaller caves in the area which are open only in the tourist season. To drive there from the coast takes about 30 minutes, and about the same driving time will take you to Postojna and the more famous caves there, or to Predjamskigrad, an amazing Castle , most of which is inside the mountain, hence its name - the castle in front of the cave.

A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people.
There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.
