This was our third time staying at Hotel Histrion, and it never disappoints! We stayed with our three kids, and it was the perfect family getaway. The rooms were spacious, very clean and comfortable.
The breakfast was fantastic, offering a great variety of fresh and delicious options that everyone in the family enjoyed. The highlight for us was definitely the amazing pool area—our kids had so much fun, and we appreciated how well-maintained and family-friendly everything was.
Hotel Histrion is truly a great place for families, and that’s why we keep coming back. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Loved everything about this property!
The staff were very attentive and welcoming.
Location on headland was magical. Room with balcony overlooking the sea clean, comfortable and modern. It was a 20 min walk around headland to the old town centre but unfortunately we did not try this out. Meals were wonderful. Parking was available for us at the property. Could sit and enjoy a cigarette with drink on the deck over the sea🙏

Amazing location, very friendly staff, great attention to details. A really good choice if you visit Strunjan by car, as it has a lot of private and safe parking lots. Rooms are big, beds are good. Breakfast is great, dinner as well, so there is absolutely nothing to complain about. We would go there a second time!

Wonderful hotel on a great location. The service was excellent, hotel staff very professional, cleanliness on the highest possible level. Facilities, wellness and spa are amazing as well.
Overall, you cannot make a mistake if you choose this place and is definitely worth every euro that you spend.

I really enjoyed the view from balcony and the room itself was clean, comfortable, had a nice interior. The hotel is near the sea and because of it you can go for walks and enjoy the scenery, also not far away from the entrance you can find a bus station if you want to explore the nearby towns.

Everything, but especially the restaurant and the staff. We loved it. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. It was superb. The waiting staff, especially Sebastian, could not have done more to make our meal more enjoyable. Excellent value for money. We will definitely visit again.

Everything! The indoor and outdoor pools were lovely, the food was lovely, the whole hotel was beautiful. The distance to Piran was great, Piran was also beautiful. We had a lovely time here. Slovenia is very clean, the people are very nice, I recommend it to everyone.

Portoroz is a nice city directly at the sea. A nice market place in the inner city with many nice shops, restaurants, bars. Stroll around the small streets and discover unexpected places.
There are many things you may do.
But take your time, sit down and watch the scenery.

Lovely little coastal town with plenty of history and and well mapped walking trail. to wonder around, although parking is not free anywhere near the centre , which we hate, hate paying for parking and worrying about the time we need, time we have etc! Spoils your holiday but it's mostly the same all over Slovenia , I feel sorry for businesses as you have to take into account the extra if you just want to stop for a coffee and so decide not to!

What a beautiful, historic, charming town that most people have never heard of! One of Slovenia's best-kept secrets! I took the ferry from Piran to Venice, which is why I came here. But I wish I could have stayed a few days more to fully explore the area, which is absolutely lovely!

Cool, intimate and quiet place, not as crowded as Piran or Isola. For those who prefer less crowded places, a little more off the beaten track. The port in Koper is no problem when it comes to enjoying the charms of the Adriatic in Ankaran.

The house with the two apartments is simply great - there is absolutely everything you need, its spaceous, super clean, very well equipped, the AC works very well as well as wifi. The location is great to get to any touristic spots, or the sea coast. Its very quiet. The instructions provided by the landlady were timely and very clear.

:-) Perfect location not far from Koper, quiet place in a dormant village. Very good starting point for trips in the very interesting vicinity. Excellent lookouts from the hill above the village, very interesting landscape. From the door of the apartment you can see the sea and the great motoway bridge. Very easy accessibility by motorway, ie. good connectivity to all interesting places in Southern Slovenia. Great kitchen/living room, 1 great room with double bed. Super friendly landlords (they even left us a welcome bottle of wine in the fridge). Very fair price for the capacity. If I planned to go to this area again, I would definitely pick this one again.
:-( There is a second sleeping room with 5 beds out of which are 2 bunkbeds. The room has a small window to the rear of the house, so is very dark. So really good rather just for the overnight sleep. But of course in the summer time you do not want to stay indoors :-).

A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people.
There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Entering the sea without shoes in the water is quite unpleasant.

A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. I would recommend Koper to everyone as a base for their Slovenian seaside sightseeing as Izola and Piran are just 20-40 minutes drive away.
