We managed to park in the garage closeby and checked in with no problem ourselves. The breakfast was good - small, but everything was tasty and they even had ab alternative milk available. The breakfast buffet was hands down the best I’ve ever had, aside from a 5-star hotel I’ve been to in Fiji, but very close in quality and choice. All in all a lovely place to stay and I hope to return soon!

The hotel is located in the city center, from where you can walk to the main attractions. There is also a tram and bus stop. The room was very comfortable, with all the necessary amenities: shampoo, kettle, coffee, refrigerator, etc. The breakfast was very good and varied, and delicious. The staff was also great and quick to respond. If I return to Bratislava, I will definitely stay here again.

We went for the Christmas Markets and they were amazing.
We stayed three days and, although occupied with the Xmas markets, it was anyway a bit too much. So, in my opinion, if you don't plan long visits to museums, two days are more than enough for the city. If you plan to stay longer, my suggestion is to hire a car and visit the surroundings.

I liked the Nivy area, it's very new and well organised with lots of green areas. There are a lot of shopping opportunities in the centre and around. Lot's of coffee shops and places to eat. The bus station is close by, and it was easy to get to from the Bratislava Airport.

Amazing location and garden, we would recommend to bigger groups, especially in summer.
Room for improvement iside: kitchen had no coffee machine; the tea kettle or grill were basically not usable prior cleaning, there were spiders, spider webs and dust in the rooms).

The apartment is situated on top (5th) floor and no lift/elevator available, which is not indicated in their sales introduction, and we hardly managed our luggage upto the room; shower can easily spill water out of the bathroom which is doorless but open to toilet area; towels are dark colour and rough (see picture); bedding is uncomfortable and quilt/blankets are easily messed up between inside stuff and outer cover(see picture); no napkin tissues are provided on dining table; toilet papers are limited to 2 rolls for 7 days’ stay.

Much smaller than it's close neighbour Vienna. Obviously there is less to see but the old town has good bars and restaurants and a good atmosphere. You can get to to Vienna in less than an hour on the train and hotels here are great value.
Summer by the Danube River would be good and the Christmas Markets were fun.

Good place to be in Bratislava if you are looking for place outside of busy city center. Having lake Strkovec near is a big plus and also very convenient for sports fans, since it is close to hockey and football stadiums.
