The room was spacious, clean and featured an excellent bath and beautiful bathroom.
The pool is clean and the sun loungers are plenty and comfortable.
But what stood out most was the wonderful staff. We both have celiac disease and require some extra care, especially at breakfast or other buffets like during a special night to celebrate Loy Krathong. We could ask questions about the food and when there was little on offer that we could eat at breakfast they made us delicious fresh food.
This made our stay much more relaxing and we are really thankful :-)
Other staff are also great, like the cleaning lady who's smile seemed to get bigger each time we saw her.

The resort is right at the beach, with a nice pool next to the beach. The cabins/bungalows are clean and fairly spacious.
He restaurant is great, the western dishes seem good, (haven’t tried) and the Thai dishes are great.
Staff is very attentive and friendly.
Although this is a resort, you have a nice mix of people, so not the stiff resort experience.

Spacious clean room with a good shower and nicely decorated bathroom.
Nice clean beach.
The food was delicious and staff wonderful. They made extra effort to accommodate our dietary restrictions. Apart from that plenty of choice of nice food. don't be discouraged by reviews saying breakfast is limited, some people just go on holiday expecting things to be exactly like back home.

The hotel is very beautiful and located inside a tropical forest with lots of nature. The food is tasty and varied.
The reception staff especially Lily were very helpful with everything we asked for.
The hotel’s beach is amazing and quiet.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the experience was very positive.

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.

We hired bicycles for 100 baht near Centara and we could cycle to the waterfall and to visit some other beaches. It is not cheap to get around, 6km was 150 each so 300 baht for 2. We stayed at Bailan beach hotel which was nice and small and intimate with a few other restaurants nearby. We walked about 1km north and south of Bailan beach but the roads are not so safe for walking there. Near Centara the roads are wider with a cycle path.
