CanadaDrifters anchor was by far the highlight of our Thailand trip! This resort gave us the privacy and best views we’ve ever seen in our travels throughout Asia! Our cute modern bungalow was nestled in the jungle overlooking the sea with a perfect sunset every night!
The staff was perfect, friendly helping us with our every need, breakfast was beyond expectation (very hard to find in Thailand) fresh fruit and great coffee! We enjoyed the walk to the resort through the jungle.. makes for a quiet romantic stay! 10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting Koh Chang!

United StatesI loved the location. This was one of the few places along the beach that had sun beds out front. It was nice to get a massage right outside the front door as well. The view from the pool was amazing. They had a delicious breakfast selection and the staff was more than accommodating.

The room was spacious, clean and featured an excellent bath and beautiful bathroom.
The pool is clean and the sun loungers are plenty and comfortable.
But what stood out most was the wonderful staff. We both have celiac disease and require some extra care, especially at breakfast or other buffets like during a special night to celebrate Loy Krathong. We could ask questions about the food and when there was little on offer that we could eat at breakfast they made us delicious fresh food.
This made our stay much more relaxing and we are really thankful :-)
Other staff are also great, like the cleaning lady who's smile seemed to get bigger each time we saw her.

We had an amazing breakfast at the resort every morning. the facilities are above par and with a restaurant and convenience store on the property you have everything at your fingertips.
there is an amazing fire show on the beach every evening, and you can only marvel at the expertise and showmanship of the fire wranglers.
The pool is a delight, with a pool bar available and the beach is a step away. The long white beach is so nice to walk along and you never get tired of all the sights. there are numerous photo opportunities along the beach with swings, coconut palms, couples seats in a heart shape and much more. so much to see and do....

We usually avoid resorts, but really enjoyed Coconut Beach Resort. It isn‘t the most modern resort around, but that made it all the more charming to us. The rooms are large, comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and attentive. The resort is spacious, clean and the grounds well taken care of. The beach is rather narrow during high tide, but we had no trouble finding a place for our beach chairs in the grassy area. The resort has 2 pools and plenty of shade. The breakfast buffet was awesome, the amount of food choices very impressive. We would definitely come back here again.

Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful.
Sylvan is vertical resort and beautiful. They do a great job helping you get around. Expensive but you get your moneys worth. Great staff, great views, Santhiya Tree was impressive but probably looked really nice 8 years ago. Over priced, hard to find. No sign to long entrance road. Restaurant named Apple Kitchen at entrance was great and very inexpensive. I’m 80 and my wife is 83. They gave us the top floor with no elevator. Steps are uneven in height so be careful. A real workout. Breaks my heart to see the wood rotting from neglect.
Next resort is Lagoon Prince. Stayed here many times. Old resort, good value, closer to ferry. White Sand Beach is great at night. Food up the beach at Soul & Sand is excellent. Every resort on the beach has a good vibe. From high end to very economy.

A wonderful stretch of beach, one of the nicest on Koh Chang to be fair. Nice and clean, quiet and peaceful. I stayed a 5 min bike ride away at the reggae place. I ate at the wonderful little shack just on the bend as you reach the beach, a mother and daughter making great som tam, Laab, Nam Tok, iced coffee etc

Ko chang is a hidden jewel, lots to do and see with other amazing islands to visit. Worth 4 nights stay on anyones itenary. Good viewpoints beaches and bars, much more laid back than pattaya but still things to do. We ve enjoyed the island and would come again

Ko Chang has no real central beach and on those beaches, there is no real central area; it's a bunch of hotel along the road. Nothing like Koh Samui. The beaches are very far apart and Lonely Beach is pretty run down, so choose wisely.
