Very nice place, love the surroundings. Very hospitable and service staff. The owner was my savior who helped me find some superheroes to climb palm trees. I had stuck my drone in a 10-15m high palm tree, 15min south on the island. They went all the way to climb up and take it down. Of course they got a big reward as a thank you🙏🏻❤️ Wanted to stay longer but it was already fullbooked.

This place is truly a gem. Big, nice and clean bungalow located right on the beach. Cozy and peaceful surroundings. Beach was clean and good for swimming and snorkeling. Beach chairs available so you don’t have to lay directly on the sand. There were kayaks and paddle boards available for free, we didn’t get to try it though. Incredible staff, always smiling, very helpful and understood English better than most other hosts. Good Thai food at fair prices, made us want eat at their restaurant at every meal, every day of our stay! We were sad to leave this place, really felt like paradise. We stayed at two other places on Koh Kooh but Rimly is the one place we want to return to.

My stay was excellent. I will definitely come back as soon as I can. The family who run the hotel made me feel at home. The room was very comfortable and clean. I also recommend the food. It is exquisite and at a good price. You can also rent a motorbike and at the same price as the other rental places. I recommend this accommodation without hesitation for people looking for a quiet place, at an excellent quality/price ratio. Congratulations to all the staff of Baan Bua Cottage. You are awesome!

Wow, what a great and restful vacation we had here! We spent 11 nights at the resort and we acctually did not want to leave, even for a scooter drive since it was so peaceful and we really needed the stress-out. We stayed in a room with our own pool and it was really lovely. Despite that, we also spent a lot of time by the big pool, and off-course, the beach. The staff is lovely! so kind and always smiling. Sim, is such a wonderful guy and nothing is to much of a problem for him. He even helped us book massage 3 times, and since there is no massage places close by, he asked them to come to the hotel and so they came and gave us massage in our own bungalo! The beach is lovely and aprx 1000 m long if you like to stroll along it. There is a few other resorts along the beach so you can variate the eating and drinking if you like. However, we really loved and prefered the food and drinks at the hotel, firstly because it was very tastful but secondly because of the staff and the cleaniness. We were on a boat-trip (excursion) one day, which the staff in the reception helped us book. Nothing much about that, some snorkeling, watching the sunset and eating barbeque. But well worth a try if you want to see some other views for a day. This was definatly one of my best vaccations I have had and I travel alot (2-3 times a year at least). We wish all the best to Sim and his staff and would like to thank all of them for making our stay here so magical! /with love Jenny and Thor

We had an amazing stay at Madee Resort! This charming resort not only offered a wonderful atmosphere but also world-class service. The staff was absolutely fantastic, especially the guy at the front desk, who went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. He was attentive, genuinely caring, and had an impressive eye for detail. One great example was how he remembered that we loved French toast for breakfast – as soon as he saw us in the morning, he made sure the kitchen started preparing fresh ones for us. The location of Madee Resort is perfect, right on the beachfront, creating a stunning and relaxing environment. Additionally, the resort is a great base for exploring the island, and they offer their own scooters for rent, making it easy to get around. We especially want to highlight the incredible receptionist once again – his service was truly exceptional! Vinh and Christopher

Brilliant. We were wowed from the moment we arrived. Staff couldn't do more if they wanted. Friendly, welcoming and on top of everything. From reception to waiters and cleaners. Rooms were plenty big enough, bathroom too. Outside beach area wonderful. Free use of kayaks which was great to explore. You can walk a fair way around the shore line to explore also. Nice and quiet and plenty of space for everyone. Koh Kood is a bit of a mission to get to but honestly worth it. If coming from Bangkok you can get bus (7hours I think) and then the ferry (1hour) you can also get a flight to Trat and then transport to pier and ferry. We flew back which was much less tiring. Reception can arrange transport if you wish it.

Amazing beach, sea, lovely and professional staff, super-clean and spacious new bungalow perfect for a family. One of the perfect vacation we had as a family in many years. Breakfast is good in a lovely restaurant/bar where the choice of lunch/dinner menu is wide enough to spend a week without ordering the same twice. Prices are also very reasonable for the location - actually cheaper than in Bangkok. We will definitely recommend and possibly get back!

The staff was great and very helpful and friendly, the bungalows are located between palm trees and many plants, we have seen many other resorts on Koh Kood and not a better one, there are better beaches on the island but therefore you have also a river around the corner for great kayaking and a motorbike is anyway a must on this island, fresh towels, water…delivered in a few minutes upon request

The staff was very friendly, and I got a free room upgrade. For snorkelers, this place is great for snorkeling, with lots of fish and very clear water. The hotel restaurant is not expensive. The ferry costs 600 bath per person for one way with company ( Koh Kood Express Ferry). The hotel is in Thai style and you have alot multiple options for photo shoots.

The resort is very spacious and the staff are extremely friendly and attentive. The houses are well spaced out and the location is beautiful. There was great snorkeling around the corner and the pool was lovely. There is a large menu and good quality food. It was low season, so we practically had the whole place to ourselves!

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem.

Koh Kood is a genuine hidden gem. The tropical beaches have crystal clear water and there are some great snorkeling spots if you look hard enough. Make sure you get down to The Fisherman Hut and mention Whimsical Tricycle to the owner, Tom. He will know what you mean. Enjoy! But keep it secret. Keep it safe.

    Koh Kood was absolutely stunning.

Koh Kood was absolutely stunning. The beaches are beautiful, very peaceful, and not crowded like other islands. It’s a true gem in the otherwise quite touristy Thailand. The island has retained its charm and natural beauty. The only downside was the presence of many sandflies on the beaches. Their bites can be bothersome, but fortunately, they do not transmit any diseases.
