I stayed at Janzo House for a week, and didn’t want to leave! The resort just opened a few months ago, but you can immediately feel how much care and thought the owners have put into it. There is a very chill, homey-vibe that isn’t easy to create. The dorm was spotless, cozy, and well-designed with lockers and spacious beds. I slept amazing (rare for a dorm) thanks to the great air circulation (two fans and AC) and soundproofing. I had the option to upgrade to one of their private rooms, which are probably the best value on the island, but opted to just stay in the dorm. The owners were always available to help with anything I needed, even providing me a refresher on how to ride a scooter since I was a bit rusty (they offer rentals on site which was so convenient and affordable). They also gave me the best recommendations for hidden gems and the best beaches to visit on Koh Kood, which made my time on the island better than I could have imagined. I ate here whenever I could since the food was amazing. I’m a latte girlie and appreciated that they use an actual espresso machine, none of that nescafe garbage. Personal favourite breakfast is the muesli, but everything they make is from the heart. The garlic chicken and pad kra pao were to die for. It’s also nice that they have a fully stocked bar and super reasonable prices! The pool was kept spotless and was the perfect place to cool off and lounge on a lazy day. They have the most amazing massage therapist that gives pool-side massages (she’s so good I had four while there). I can’t say enough about Janzo House. If you’re planning to stay, I highly recommend allocating a few more days if you can. You’ll be glad you did (I was sad that I didn’t). Already planning my next stay!

Good location and activities for travellers.

Our stay at The Canalle Boutique in Koh Kood was nothing short of amazing! The house we stayed in featured gorgeous natural wood surfaces and had a subtle, refreshing scent that made the experience even more serene. Beyond the beautiful design, the Deng's hospitality was outstanding. She not only prepared delicious breakfasts for us but even went the extra mile to wash some of our clothes—a truly thoughtful gesture. Her attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our comfort made us feel so cared for. We highly recommend this beautiful retreat to anyone visiting Koh Kood!

The staff is really awesome. The young man working at the bar was phenomenal. Not only did we get some delicious drinks, it was entertaining. Reception staff was incredibly helpful. They set up our ferry and car to Pattaya while we were exploring Koh kood. Very attentive staff. We had an ocean front pool villa and, by far, it was the most amazing view! The bed is very comfortable. The seating area is inviting. Best minibar, nicely restocked every day. Bathroom was gorgeous. Geckos were cool to watch and listen to. Klong Hin is a 5 minute walk, wicked beach to check out!

staff, restaurant, cheap and good 90b large beer, most thai dishes 120 to 150, many 70 to 90 on rice . great beach, other sections of beach, side of hotel. need a few hours clean up. the beach as good as other areas on island , all very similar this close to the best. great seaview rooms, 36 sm metres. incl 8sq balcony (9 x 4). lot more than 20sm quoted. aircon very good.

The family who runs the place is very friendly. The room was very clean. The food was good. Overall excellent accomodations.

Beautiful hotel with such a friendly staff. Rooms are good quality and spacious. That also have free kayaks at the property that can be taken to the sea via a small river. Good motorbikes are available for rental. They also have a restaurant and convince store at the property. Even though there was no vegetarian options in the menu, they made vegetarian thai food without fish sauce and egg for my mother.

Amazing property with great location. We spent 6 nights here and would have loved to spend more. Nai is an amazing host who ensures your stay is comfortable.

The host was very kind and friendly. She always paid attention to our needs and had excellent suggestions for us. The breakfast was different each day and the hut was very quiet and peaceful.

This was the best place we have stayed during our trip. The cottages were well maintained and very clean, and the entire property was absolutely beautiful and serene. Baan Bua has pretty much everything you need and is the perfect home base for staying on Koh Kood - the food at their restaurant is amazing, the included breakfast has many different options, they have motorbike rentals and laundry services, and they will help you figure out boat travel to your next destination. They also had many extra details - including everything you would need for the beach (nice cotton towels, beach bag, beach mat, cover-ups, etc). Everyone working there is kind and helpful. We are at a fancy hotel in Pattaya right now and I can say that staying at Baan Bua would be our preference!
