HungaryTee and Mark's bungalow was one of the most wonderful places we have ever stayed. We spent 10 nights here, arriving as guests and leaving as friends. Every night in the bungalow, we fell asleep to the sounds of the jungle and woke up in the morning to the sound of howler monkeys. Mark surprised us every morning with a generous Thai breakfast, so we didn't need to buy breakfast separately. We also tried Tee's restaurant several times: they cook heavenly food. The bungalow was cleaned every day and towels were changed daily. We also got a few bottles of water every day, which were stored in the refrigerator. There was a kettle and coffee powder, cups, and spoons in the room. Our bungalow didn't have air conditioning, but it cooled down so much in the evening that we didn't even need a fan. There were mosquito nets above our beds. We were able to rent motorbikes and were given lots of suggestions for things to do. Mark put together a list of his favorite places nearby. There is also a laundry not far from the bungallow, where you can drop off your clothes between 6 and 9 in the morning and they will be washed and ironed by the next day.

NetherlandsWhen I arrived I was greeted by a gentleman who spoke perfect English, which isn't a common thing in Thailand but very pleasant to have.
I was able to rent a scooter from the hotel right away and made it easy to go to stores and explore the island.
The room was very spacious and shower was actually made for the taller people and had comfortable pressure.
The bed was a little bit on the harder side, but not like concrete which I have read somewhere.
It was still comfortable and pillows were also very good.
The curtains were decent and kept the light out properly.
The balcony was huge and for me being on the third floor, was able to see the sea and, if the weather would have been better, likely to have seen the sunset for there if I wanted to check it out from the room.
Swimming pools (24/7 accessible ) were very good and also had a massage, which was very nice as well!
Overall I would highly recommend people staying here as this place is amazing and also located in a Central spot on the West Side of the koh Lanta island.
People who work here are incredibly friendly and would like to thank the people working in the accommodation for this!
They have that true Thai friendlyness which I sometimes had missed in the Southern parts of Thailand 😊

We had a wonderful vacation at the Banana. Everyone was so friendly and up on their feet to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Our daughter especially enjoyed all the toys, the pool and lots of mates to play with. We prolonged our stay due to its ideal conditions for families. Special thanks to the restaurant staff and Init who helped us change our dates and was wonderful about it.

Amazing stay at Fiore resort! The property is stunning! We felt as if we were in a jungle and not in very touristy Ao Nang. The bungalows are very comfortable, spacious and the AC works very well. Very quiet and peaceful stay, I would recommend for anyone coming to Ao Nang!

The best of all was the stuff they were kind and helpful and welcoming. I really enjoyed dinner at the beach( they set it up every day on the beach) it's in nature so it's quiet and animals around the resort. So peaceful and calm.

The island is very beautiful.
The island is very beautiful. It's suitable for all types of tourists.
The beaches are nice, although the best ones require at least a 20-minute walk. I was pleasantly surprised.
Maya bay definitly worth a visit (only acessible by boat).
The food is good and varied.
The viewpoints are spectacular. Viewpoint 3 is quite far and a bit muddy, but if you're in good physical shape, you can get there easily.
Those traveling with children or who have mobility difficulties should avoid accommodations in the mountains.

Less positive: It would be better to have less polluting and noisy local boats available to reduce pollution and noise. Perhaps with eletrical engines.

We love Bangkok for its busy craziness, but Koh Lanta is our favourite place for chilling out. Hire a scooter, explore the island, try the restaurants, swim, snorkel, watch the sunset - its that kind of place.

It's a pretty rustic, typical old Thai town, the locals are lovely, peaceful people
Krabi Airport :-Be sure to have some baht notes if you're taking a driver or taxi to your hotel- there are ATMs at Krabi airport but easier if you have cash
The Friday & Saturday food markets are great for Thai foods of all sorts
Take a long boat ride from along the riverside - a couple of hours touring the river and surrounds for 50 - 100 AUD
Riverside Restaurant and Bar us a good place for dinner
Blu Monkey is great little hotel

Really beautiful area with SO much to explore on foot and by boat. Walking street is amazing. Phra Nang beach is gorgeous but a little busy at times. Tonsai beach is worth the walk to get there. Amazing trip we loved it and would absolutely go back. Do a longtail boat tour private to see some islands, take a climbing lesson!

On a rainy day it is boring as f... Very early morning at sunrise is the best time to walk on the beach and take pics. There are very few small shops and mostly mediocre restaurants and massage places

No favourite thing. Many favourite things.
Jungle, sea, boats cars tuk tuk and all.
Most importantly I had the best guided tours on offer. Thank you. One and all.

Although the staff and location are great.
Although the staff and location are great. They double charged for our room as we reserve through Booking with our Credit Card but then we paid cash( yes I kept the receipt) then later after I reviewed my statement they had charged my CC. I reached out to them 1st per bookings police’s but they didn’t respond. I spent hours on the phone with booking uploading documentation, etc and still nothing is resolved. I am also frustrated with Booking!

We visited in early December and it was still pretty quiet. Beautiful beach and snorkelling. Trip to emerald cave was brilliant! We booked our tour and speedboat through the lady just outside of Koh Ngai KaimukThong Resort and she was brilliant! The resort staff were so friendly and helpful. Food was good and cheap compared to other restaurants (though they were also great, just a bit more $).

Our first impression was wow!
And it certainly meet our expectations. The beach was gorgeous, the water so warm and it felt very safe. The main strip was very lively with loads of shops and an amazing choice of restaurants. It also had a night market.
