RussiaWe spent 3 days in this hotel in the beginning of March. I might say that this is one of the best small hotels we've ever stayed in. It is located near the main street right in the center of Göreme. You may walk to Göreme Open Air Museum in 15-20 minutes. A lot of cafes and restaurants, couple of exchange offices, supermarket and liquor shop are nearby. But in Göreme everything is nearby. Our room 305 was large, comfortable and homely with windows facing Göreme view point. It fully corresponds to its description on Booking.com. Very good breakfast was served on the third-floor terrace. Our transfers from the airport and back were arranged by hotel staff. Before our arrival receptionist Nurana provided complete list of activities in Göreme so it is possible to book them in advance, especially hot balloon ride. Next time we come to Göreme I'll definitely book this hotel.

All staff especially the receptionist and restaurant staff are very friendly, extremely helpful and accomodating. We booked airport transfers both ways and taxis to Goreme, ski resorts, fairy chimneys etc, all the drivers are very profesionals with fair prices, most don’t speak English but thw rexeptionist always help us translating throught the phone. They gave us suites with private terrace and the view is amazing. Our bathroom is massive with a a wonderful view from bathtub. My most favorite part of the room is the heated floor!! It makes so much difference in winter. The breakfast is not to be missed.

This hotel is truly one of the best we have ever stayed at! The food, staff, and customer service were exceptional. Selim was especially very very helpful, and Yufuk was very prompt in assisting us. Our stay was amazing, and if we ever return to Cappadocia, we will definitely choose this hotel again. After seeing other hotels while traveling in a shuttle bus, I can confidently say this is the best hotel in Cappadocia!

The best Hotel for the views in the morning. Staff is very friendly and the roof terrace is really good. The views of the air balloons and over Goreme is beautiful. We got up early to be able to see how the air balloons are setting up in the distance. The breakfast that they offer is also very good, providing you with a lot of options in the morning. I would really recommend the hotel.

Stunning, unique landscape. Easy to walk around the town - it’s relatively small with not too much traffic. There are some great walks, although you need transport to get to some of them. If you can’t afford to do the balloon flights, the next best thing is to climb the hill with the Turkish flag on it (you can’t miss it) just before sunrise and watch the balloons from there - it’s worth getting up early for. There is a small charge to climb the hill as it’s on private land.

It is a lovely small town next to Goreme (famous for the hot air balloon rides and pointed rock structures) so its a short ride away with none of the hustle and bustle of a touristy town. It has many local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance, to eat at without breaking the bank.
There is a promenade with on the river with jungle gyms and play areas for little kids. And fishing is also possible from the banks of the river.

Ortahisar is a beautiful little town. It’s quite quiet but a short taxi ride into slightly busier Goreme. I’m glad we stayed in Ortahisar though as it was much more relaxing and quaint. Hisarönü Restaurant was our favourite place to eat - fantastic food, lovely Cappadocian wine and shisha. We even got given a free slice of cake as it was the owners birthday. Highly recommend!

- Schedule the balloon ride at least one hour before sunset.
The red and green tour is a must to do also, but pay attention inside the stores they will guide you, it is everything more expansive in those stores.
If you are looking some asian food go to Quick China, reasonable prices and good quality, if you looking for some nice steaks, go to Wood Fire Steakhouse.

Great location for accessing the Cappadocia region, activities and trails. Good, little town center with a variety of cuisines to choose from. The Uchisar castle is at the heart of town and wirth a visit.
