The room is big, it has everything you need: refrigerator, iron, kettle, AC, big table, 2 comfortable chairs, a nice balcony with a table and 2 chairs. Wi-fi was good. The bathroom has enough space too and it looks modern. A lot of small stores around the hotel and close to the beach, around 100 m. The area has good roads, so it is full of cars and motorcycles.

The location of the hotel is great, secluded but close to the beach.
The bungalows and all of the facilities are comfortable, in a tropical garden which is great for chilling out.
We really enjoyed the bbq night with live music.

I really liked that the hotel is right by the beach so i could go to the beach all the time and go for different activities. my room was clean. I was given 2 bottles of water each time they cleaned the room which is really good. Zanzibar was very Hot so i am very glad the room had AC and a ceiling FAN. I liked that the bathroom had a water heater because i prefer hot showers. The staff were friendly and nice from the cleaning staff to the receptionist to the waiters and waitresses at the restaurant. The swimming pool was clean and the beds by the pool were more than enough for the guests. the hotel is located in a quiet area so i got to rest and enjoy my vacation away from the noise of the city. the restaurant food was amazing. i liked having meals with the view of the ocean. Also as a solo traveller woman, I felt safe here. Lastly, my departure flight was late in the night so at check out time they helped me keep my bags in the luggage room so i could continue to relax till it was time to leave.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning beach lined with palm trees and a peaceful atmosphere that made the whole experience incredibly relaxing. I loved that it was never crowded, it felt like a private escape.
The food was truly delicious, every meal was fresh and full of flavor.
What really made the difference was the staff. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and warm, in a way I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Joseph and Jamal were especially helpful, and I’m grateful to all the other team members as well, even if I don’t remember all their names.
We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Amazing staff! They’re the kindest people I’ve ever met! It’s located on really nice beach. I would say it’s the best part of the beach. If you walk few meters on the left, there’s plenty of starfish. Really delicious food in the restaurant. Breakfast was also good, not the same every day and lot of choices. Wouldn’t find any better place. :)
We stayed all day after check out before leaving and they let us take a shower in the lobby, provided towels and also beach towels.

This property is a real gem.
It has everything that you need for relaxing vacation. Beautiful beach, nice pool. Amazing nature surrounding everything. Staff is very attentive and knowledgeable, they are very kind and pleasant. Rooms are spacious, clean and bed is comfortable. Food and drinks selection is very wide and everything is delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, everything was amazing from check in to check out and throughout.

Highly recommend the area is classier than paje beach very chill and clean. The room was clean and specious. The spa is very good highly recommend. The beach is beautiful and the water very warm.
The beach is beautiful and the water very warm. Because of the strong tides there's only water in the morning and the afternoon but it makes the beach very interesting and beautiful and gives the oportunity to walk far out and find seashells and starfish.
The only downside to the beach is the many very insisting sellers who make it impossible to go for a walk without being approached.

A peaceful and welcoming town with a strong sense of community and a safe, relaxing atmosphere.
We stayed in a peaceful part of town, where there were noticeably fewer street vendors selling beads and souvenirs compared to other areas. This made the atmosphere even more calm and relaxing, allowing us to fully enjoy the local charm without feeling overwhelmed.

Kiwengwa is an amazing place , only annoying this is the amount of African people that hassle you on the beach - men dressed as masi that are not from the the masi Maru tribe ( pretending they are ) and annoying you when you trying to enjoy a peaceful walk it is over bearing and no one wants that on their holiday - was most beaches in Zanzibar !!

Matemwe is a perfect destination for anyone who wants peace and quiet, but still has access to great activities. You can easily arrange dolphin watching and swimming tours – look for Captain Lucho, he helped us with everything and made the experience amazing. A beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Kendwa beach was definitely the best beach compared to Nungwi, especially the south part. Even in low tide it was easy to take a swim. Also the beach here is wider and feel less crowded. As on the complete stretch there were many people trying to sell you stuff but on the south part not so many ”permanent” sales people other than the ones having sheds. The Maasai roaming around are friendly but just say no with a smile and most will not be persistent in their effort to sell you something..

This is not a touristy location... it is off the beaten track... a village, by the sea, with an increasing number of resorts being added. I hope it does not lose its charm to the crowds. This is a quiet, special place.

As someone who genuinely enjoys the rich and flavorful cuisine of Stone Town, I found the food in the area to be rather bland and not reflective of its price point.
