CanadaBest hotel in New Jersey!! Staff were super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was great, big variety and they changed the hot options each day, which was great since we stayed for five days. There is a bus stop across from the hotel, the bus drops you off in Times Square (Port Authority Terminal) it takes anywhere from 15 to 25 mins to get there, depending on traffic. Hotel located in a quiet area and very close to American Dream Mall(Second largest Mall in North America), which is a most visit! And very close to MetLife Stadium. They have a nice patio area in front of the main entrance, during the summer.
Hotel rooms are super clean, beds are very confortable, rooms are cleaned every other day. Free parking is a great benefit too. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn Carlstadt At The Meadowlands. Amazing hotel, if you plan on visiting NYC.

Excellent value : basic but clean and wifi (very fast ) /TV facilities (channel selection) that were far superior to Omni Sverin that I visited earlier in the week ( at a much higher price). I arrived at 1:00AM ( car hire delays a Newark airport) but night manager had everything ready for me.
My very high ratings are a reflection of the value that they provided.

All the good things you’d expect from a Hilton - staff welcoming and helpful. Room very comfortable (and excellent view of the New York skyline - extra for that though). Breakfast buffet or a la carte so that was good too, as were the choices.

Don’t stay in New Jersey to save money , if you are visiting New York ( Manhattan ) you will end up paying a lot for transportation. Add that money and stay in city center .you can save money and energy

Mahwah oh is a great area, I used to live in that area. So I only have good things to say about the town. Plus, it’s very close to a lot of things, including New York City and the mountains. And the Ramapo Valley area is just beautiful. Oh, we ate at the Mahwah bar and Grill and it was fantastic. Good prices and good food. Ok

Traffic can be heavy, even in the early hours, but a great location for anyone traveling by bus or car to local areas and popular cities. Anyone on foot will be able to find plenty to do and eat as well. Lots of shopping in a picturesque community.

It’s a very busy hotel. Many airline pilots as well as group functions. The hotel is kept immaculate inside and out. Use Booking.com for reservations for better rates. Hilton Honors Membership needs an overhaul. Booking.com I learned is A MUST USE!!!

Good bed. Clean room. No parking. Had to park on grass along with 30 other guests and was boxed in at 6:30 the next morning which delayed my departure. The unacceptable parking situation negates all the good of the place. I will not stay there again.

A very nice, safe town.
A very nice, safe town. There were many families and groups of people going out for dinner, shopping and the like. There are many coffee shops that are delicious and have nice ambiance. There are grocery stores that are amazing, big, beautiful, clean and great products and prices. There are plenty of things to do, being very close to NYC, Met Life Stadium and malls and movie theaters. There are historical sites and many parks with gorgeous views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and NYC.
