AustriaThe hotel and the staff was just unbelievable! The location was perfect, we felt so safe in the middle of the financial district and this was most important to us as we are 2 girls traveling. The staff was so incredibly helpful and friendly, they helped us out a lot and were always really friendly without being too pushy. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in the budget but get so much for it! The metro is also just next to the hotel and you're in walking distance of so many cool restaurants/take aways/the financial district which is incredible at night to walk through. I don't think I have ever been this satisfied with a hotel!

Lots of good advice about the neighbourhood We stayed in a big family loft-style room which was partitioned into a sleeping space and a living-space with sofa-bed. Given that we were there for five nights, we were delighted to find that the kitchen had everything we might want — toaster, coffee-maker, fridge, oven, plenty of crockery and cutlery etc. Good fast internet. Quiet street. Arty but relaxed decor. I hope to stay again.

Nothing prepares you for your first glimpse of Manhattan. This legendary island is everything you’ve seen and read. And more.
Its most famous skyscraper is the Empire State Building, though some argue that views from the Top of the Rock in the Rockerfeller Centre are even better as they actually feature NYC’s most iconic building. Equally unmistakable is the Chrysler Building, overlooking Grand Central Station whose interior is pristine.
Wandering Times Square it’s easy to see why this city never sleeps. Broadway, with its theatres, runs through it and continues to Central Park, a haven of greenery. At its midway point is the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and MoMA is another museum nearby.
Other midtown Manhattan attractions include Radio City Music Hall and St Patrick’s Cathedral, while further south are the intriguing districts of Greenwich Village, Little Italy and Chinatown. Streets in between house the bastions of New York shopping – Macy’s, Bloomingdales and Saks Fifth Avenue.
However, the real business goes down at Manhattan’s southernmost tip, where Wall Street houses the New York Stock Exchange. North-west is the Ground Zero Memorial, while from southern Battery Park ferries depart to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty.
Space is at a premium in NYC so there aren’t many Manhattan hotels with free parking. However, Booking.com does offer great Manhattan hotel deals, including cheaper options.

The William Vale hotel is located in the vibrant Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. When you travel, there are always some things you're not used to and some things that are different than you imagined, but that's the magic of travel - accepting your new home for what it is and looking for the positive. We love New York and we love Brooklyn with all that goes with it. We can confirm that the William Vale is the perfect hotel and we enjoyed our three week stay to the max. We really appreciate the friendly and helpful staff who responded immediately to our every request. Our room had a large balcony and an incredible view of Brooklyn and Manhattan, and we spent all our mornings and evenings there. The pool is wonderful, visiting it has its pitfalls, but if you find out how everything works, make your reservation early and also arrive on time, you will be delighted. The Leuca restaurant is a super bonus if you're hungry late at night and don't feel like going to the other great restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back and we are already missing it. Thank you.

Modern hotel right at the outskirts of Soho with a very amicable staff although very busy all the time. The zone is rather quiet and safe with metro stations nearby. The room is somewhat small but confortable and clean. Didn’t have breakfast in the hotel so no comment about this.

Great shopping, I love the vintage/consignment stores. Also the Christmas lights, I did a walking tour which was lovely and our guy provided some great historical info too, very worthwhile.
Loved seeing The Rockettes Christmas Show, it's so nice and envelopes you in Christmas.
MJ The Musical was fab too, you can take your pick of Broadway shows.
I visited some lovely hotels for design inspo and was welcomed even though I wasn't staying. The food was delicious and though alone I felt at ease and well cared for.
The subway was brilliant and easy to use. Google maps was great to ensure I knew how many stops, and which direction to get off.
New York is definitely a fab visit for everyone!

Free parking! Rivera's bagel cafe, Sushi King and Have a Bagel were great! I met up with friends who lived in the neighborhood and we went into Manhattan and did touristy things. We rode the tram to Roosevelt Park for a good view the price of a subway ticket, which was awesome!

We were traveling from central PA to visit the Statue of Liberty and didn't want to make the trip in one day, so we decided to get lodging the night prior to our day trip. We debated on whether to stay in New Jersey or New York. We searched for rooms and this motel in Jersey City seemed like a good choice. It was perfect. We walked to a coffee shop in Jersey City and felt quite safe. We passed many solo joggers, mothers with small children and bicyclists. The part of the city we were in was very clean. We were pleasantly surprised.

I liked my experience, it was adventurous full of life and full of different characters. It’s also close to a lot of what to enjoy. I went to city island, it was amazing especially for seafood lovers.

After landing at Liberty, we rented a car for our tours of NYC. Finding and paying for parking in NYC was a difficulty I could live without. Fortunately, most tolls were paid with the car rental agreement. The Secaucus location was perfect for driving, but the buses stop right outside the hotel. If it were available to guests, more information on bus routes to the City's main attractions, as well as details on paying for bus and subway toll passes and wheelchair accessibility, would be helpful and might change how a traveler chooses to get around.

Nice secure area, mind the pavements they may be bumpy (though getting fixed from time to time), close to NYC, tunnel takes its time but was never extreme, nice small neighborhoods, great view on NYC, nice shopping (mall, low price shops, dine-in)

This is a wonderful Hotel and friendly. Unfortunately as a regular returning customer experiencing my recent stay under new management was somewhat disappointing because l should have been compensated on not paying the extra money for checkout. Staff members were extremely nice .

Reasonably priced, large room. breakfast and kitchen,free parking and less taxes than NYC proper.
The area where the hotel is is not walkable but there are a few decent places to eat minutes away..Not fancy but some good food in Yonkers and Riverdale.
We have people in N Jersey and Hastings on Hudson. Neeme indian restaurant is best Indian I've had in years happy hour 5-7, Leibman's Deli a classic both in Riverdale. Taco Project 5 minutes from the hotel is not imoressive but the food is amazing and lovely service .Bella Rosa OG NYC pizza hero pasta . Great heroes and good service.Even the wine us both reasonable and pretty good.
