Perfect place to walk along the beach at sunset.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Great location, good parking. Didn't realise breakfast was included so that was a nice surprise, it was just what we needed.
We did not have enough time to use the pool sadly but would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed a few times now at Driftwood Shores. Professional staff, very friendly and helpful. Every room has been very clean and attention to detail. The location cannot be beat. We use to stay closer to downtown Florence. But Driftwood Shores Resort is now our place to stay when we visit Florence.

The staff here are all wonderful! Friendly and helpful in every interaction. Room was more than comfortable, breakfast had way more options than I imagined and it was very affordable.
My mom and I enjoyed our stay very much and are already planning a return visit in the spring!

We loved our room with the fireplace and balcony, especially with the nice kitchenette and dining area to enjoy the view. It was a special touch to have a bottle of champagne waiting with a Happy Anniversary note and treats as well! Late hot tub access was also enjoyed!

The location and view couldn’t have been better. We woke up to a beautiful sunrise and views of haystack rock. Mark and the rest of the awesome staff were welcoming, accommodating, and so friendly. And Archie loved the dog welcome pack. We will definitely be back.

Traffic is horrid and drivers are as rude as the largest city in Oregon. Known for its cassino, Chinook Winds has dropped its buffet, changed betting rules to favor profit over entertainment and less staff. Personally, I won't be back.

The Aquarium is outstanding, The city has many things to see and do. The seafood restaurants serve some of the best food on the west coast. People are friendly and the town is clean and quiet at this time of the year. Local Ocean is THE place for fresh off the boat food!

Unfortunately, coming in late October, in a driving rain and wind storm, we couldn't enjoy all that Astoria had to offer. We did enjoy all the small shops in the market area, but the place has so much to do, for everyone. Definitely needed more time to explore all the adventures this place has to offer.

The beach is absolutely breathtaking.
The beach is absolutely breathtaking. I have seen puffins on Haystack Rock in the summer. One of my favorite things about Cannon Beach is driving up to Ecola State Park, where there are so many elk in people's yards, on the road and in the park. There are wonderful galleries and clothing shops in town. Very walkable, easy to see everything during a trip. Kid and pet friendly!

Amazing stay! Beautiful cozy space with all amenities you could ask for. Beautiful view and delightful host that went out of her way to show us everything including whales in the water. Highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Coos Bay is a Great Place to visit.
Coos Bay is a Great Place to visit. There's many events throughout the year.
Visit Shore Acres Botanical gardens, Mingus Park or John Topits park. Always remember there's the amazing Oregon Coast with Shore or Deep Sea Fishing, Crabbing and the Oysters.
Coos Bay and North Bend offer many Motels, or Camping/RV facilities. We find "Sun Outdoors" is Great for camping/RV or Cabin Rentals. It's right on the beach and close to Simpson Reef with the Sea Lions and Seals.
Love eating at "The Boat" for fish and chips.

A quant little town by the ocean. One of the nicest coastal towns on the Oregon coast and we have seen them all. The old town was charming, we had a great walk and ended it with a wonderful dinner with a view of the water

It's a great little Oregon Coastal town.
It's a great little Oregon Coastal town. We ate fish and chips at the Luna in Yachats in a covered area where our dog was welcome as well. We also ate takeout at at a Mexican restaurant in Waldport, six miles north.
YKachats has a cool art gallery caled the Peephole. Joyce is fun to talk with.

The best part of North Bend was visiting Shore Acres.
The best part of North Bend was visiting Shore Acres. There is a fantastic botanical garden there you can visit for just $5 parking permit!
It had an ocean overlook where we saw a pod of whales close to the shore!
Otherwise we didn't do much in the town.
