The Sanibel Inn had everything that you would expect in a first class resort.The grounds were beautiful. The staff was friendly and professional. Our room was clean, had a nice layout, with top notch bathroom supplies, shower lotions, paper products, etc. Dante's restaurant had very good food and a hard working staff. All in all, we highly recommend the Sanibel Inn and plan on staying there again.

Only thing I would suggest is this: provide coffee filters and salt &pepper shakers. Barbecue grill needed gas, also.
Otherwise Sunshine had everything we needed.
Noseeums were AWFUL!

If you go to Sanibel, make sure you check the weather for rain. If you whant a quiet place Sanibel is it. For a little more night activities you going to take a look at Captiva to see if they have what you're looking
for. Otherwise It's a very relaxing and quiet place.
