The manager has either cherry picked these incurable staff or the went to the best hospitality school. We were truly amazed of high quality of the staff, the great quality of breakfast spread. What can I can more. I was truly in awe is this real. Bravo everyone. This is the hotel to stay if ever in Saigon. Simply the best!

The 2nd night when I got back room, the hotel prepared a foot massage bucket for me, which is so surprising. Breakfast was good. They also have a a la carte menu for the rest of the day and the food we ordered from it was very delicious. You stay here for the history. Taken back to another time of continental travel and the beginnings of international journalism, the style of the hotel gives you a fine moment in the bustle of a city bent on modernizing. A mix of well-dressed tourists and business people stay here, and it's not even that expensive. I recommend it as a classy experience for a couple of days right by the opera, Western shops, but also the lively walking avenues where youngsters gather, perform and play in the evenings.

The overall standard at this hotel was very good, in every aspect.
My only concern was that of the evening restaurant staff who seemed to have great difficulty in getting the correct menu order to the table. Every evening I had great difficulty in conversing with the waiters, even with the aid of the menu, I often received the wrong order.

The location is amazing! Right next to the party street, but completely quiet. Also the Saigon bus terminal is 250m away, so our trip to cu chi tunnels was easier than expected (27k đ one way, about 2,5h). There is no breakfast, but many cafes, restaurants and 7-Elevens around to compensate.
The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean.

Immaculate Hotel, great room and pool, very attentive staff and service.
The seafood buffet was amazing value for money and the best seafood I have ever tasted.
Price was very reasonable and worth it for a 5 star hotel in the centre of SGN.
Will definitely stay there again.

Shopping i say best in Han market(DaNang) or WeekendFleeMarket(Hanoi-Near Train Street)
Day - 1 :
-> 2 moderate sized War Museums [NOT for Sensitive People] - Pretty explicit on the display of visual evidence on how USA acted in Vietnam War to win at any cost. [one might equate the atrocities to the Hitler era]
-> City Tour in Double Deck bus
-> Night Party in the bui ven street.
Day - 2:
-> Cu Chi Tunnels - Half Day Trip (best if it's the first half of day one)
-> some shopping at ben tha market, central market ( again central market is cheaper comparatively because less footfall.)
-> if you still have time party again at biue ven street
*** Mind you i might have missed a couple of attractions myself in this city but this felt good enough in the city. so if you want nature scenery you need to get away from the city.
*** being a vegetarian from INDIA i was happy i could find quite a number of INDIAN restaurants to have fulfilling food atleast 1 time a day

Ben Thanh market is an experience but a rip off, go to Saigon square, find the lady in the picture at Saigon square make her viral as she is lovely. (She squeezed my bum to get a deal from me) Try Eddies Diner, have beers in the Aussie bar , have breakfast at the Hungry pig, definetly look in Saigon Jane next door for one off Tee shirts. Try M village The tropic for peaceful stay. See my picture for the top guy in Ben Thanh for watches, tell him in advance and he will get it. Reminds me of Mr Chow from the hangover

A city is quickly changing, but still offer a good level of authenticity when compares to other developing cities. People are friendly, food is nice, plenty of coffee, almost too many, but that is not a complain. Grab Car service is convenient, and very affordable, making going around the city not much a problem. Most people does not speak English, Chinese or most popular foreign languages but not really a problem. It is a nice city for short to medium vocation, a hide-away city in Asia.
