Had an amazing stay at the Sakurakyo hotel at sunset town. A special shout out to the General Manager. She took time to chat to me everyday, make suggestions and helped to organise things. She bagged me and my son access to their jacuzzi bar. Amazing views of the firework show from there. The staff were really attentive and helpful. The hotel is very well situated. Spacious and well appointed room. Thank you to the entire team for 4 wonderful night!

AustriaWe had a wonderful stay! The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and helpful. There's even a WhatsApp hotline for questions about the apartment or the island.
The apartments are new, modern, and very clean, including the towels and other amenities. Also you can see the daily fireworks from the apartments and the rooftop pool is beautiful.
We loved it so much we extended our stay twice.
When our original room was already booked, the staff upgraded us to a bigger one at no extra cost.
They really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable!

Our room had a very nice see view, where you can see the while sunset town and the sunset! Breakfast we could order from menu, which was beeing in a restaurant every morning, it was fine and delicious too. We have to mention the extraordinary staff, who made our holiday even more enjoyable. They recommended and organised programs as well! Compliment to the team!

Butterfly Rose Beach Resort is a little slice of peaceful paradise, away from the crowds and built up areas on the west side of the island. Aline a brilliant host. She’s very friendly, generous and helpful. Her food is incredible. The rooms and beach area are gorgeous, and the sunrises are magical. Don’t hesitate - book this place!

Everything exceeded our expectations! It’s truly such a wonderful and beautiful place. From the moment we arrived, the service was amazing, and the attention to detail was top-notch. The food in the restaurant was unreal—so delicious! I would highly recommend the seafood platter, as well as the breakfast every morning, which never disappointed. The pool area and overall aesthetic of the venue made it feel like you were in the jungle—so peaceful! I was so sad to leave when we did.

We booked here last minute and are so glad we did. We even tried to extend but they were full sadly. Lovely and clean, good bathrooms with warm showers. Location is good, right near lovely beach bar with loungers/bean bags and lots of nice restaurants etc. There is a free Shuttle bus which is really handy for getting around. Highly recommended!

The lush, peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding after busy workdays. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic mountain view. My kids loved the pool and the small organic vegetable garden. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the fresh fruit juices. We’ll definitely come back!

The location adjacent to the beach was great, as was the view from the room. Everything about the room and staff was good. They had an excellent gardener, the garden was so beautiful and the plants so perfect "they almost looked artificial".

Great location- in the city center, a few minutes from Night market, but on a quiet street. The hotel area and the rooms are clean and maintained. Very spacious room, comfortable beds. The breakfast is very good. We had a wonderful time.

The island is so beautiful!
The island is so beautiful! Thete are many unspoiled beaches and incredible places hete - just avoid the over-commercialized places like Sunset Town. Duong Dong is a good area - for cuisine, shopping and beaches. Pearls are cultivated locally and can be bought more cheaply in some markets. The Night Markets are such fun! Take taxis and tuktuk - cheap and cheerful.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.
