We had a birthday and the staff left a cute birthday message on the bed. Fireworks looks great from our sea-facing balcony, and the whole hotel smells nice. I really liked the many wall paintings adorning the lobby and restaurant. Great theming throughout the hotel and the staff are all so friendly. All the them are very proactive and some of them speak great English. The free buggy service around sunset town was easy to use and really convenient.
The spa was very good as well. We enjoyed it a lot.
Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to this area. Hope to come back again!

AustriaWe had a wonderful stay! The staff, especially the owner, were very friendly and helpful. There's even a WhatsApp hotline for questions about the apartment or the island.
The apartments are new, modern, and very clean, including the towels and other amenities. Also you can see the daily fireworks from the apartments and the rooftop pool is beautiful.
We loved it so much we extended our stay twice.
When our original room was already booked, the staff upgraded us to a bigger one at no extra cost.
They really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable!

HungaryThe hotel is quite new and has a uniqe italian atmosphere. Even though ee are in vietnam, we liked this style. Our room had a very nice see view, where you can see the while sunset town and the sunset! Breakfast we could order from menu, which was beeing in a restaurant every morning, it was fine and delicious too. We have to mention the extraordinary staff, who made our holiday even more enjoyable. They recommended and organised programs as well! Compliment to the team!

PolandWe had many accomodations in Vietnam but this one was the cleanest, the beds were very comfortable, the room is spacious and well-arranged. I recommend to pay more and have a room with the sea view. The owner is amazing, very caring and helpful. He is always available for you and he did everything to make us feel very comfortable. Next to the hotel there are restuarants with fresh seafood. You can rent a scooter in the hotel.

I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at the Tropicana Resort - it wasn't one of the best rated hotels when I was doing the research, however it had excellent location and I decided to book it. Everything went great onsite, the staff were extremely nice, my room had sea view which was amazing to wake up to every morning. I would definitely book it again and I think it is an excellent choice for people that want to stay at a nice place at the beach and don't want to spend tons of money for it. There is also a great restaurant nearby that you should not miss to visit - Tween's Kitchen.

The lush, peaceful environment was perfect for unwinding after busy workdays. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a fantastic mountain view. My kids loved the pool and the small organic vegetable garden. Breakfast was delicious and varied, especially the fresh fruit juices. We’ll definitely come back!

Everything was amazing, from the staff to the rooms and the breakfast was also delicious. The rooms were huge, with super comfortable beds, a bathtub and good Lightning. Even has a cozy little seating area. Highly recommend! Great location by the bus station, and walking distance to centre as well!

The island is so beautiful!
The island is so beautiful! Thete are many unspoiled beaches and incredible places hete - just avoid the over-commercialized places like Sunset Town. Duong Dong is a good area - for cuisine, shopping and beaches. Pearls are cultivated locally and can be bought more cheaply in some markets. The Night Markets are such fun! Take taxis and tuktuk - cheap and cheerful.

The main town is fairly average, not particularly pretty. OK food options, big range but average quality and expensive (tourist / island) prices compared to HCM. Too many noisy doof-doof nightclubs along the beach ruin the chance for a relaxing sleep. Leave it for the backpacker revellers. Many accommodation options seem run down. Plenty of Russians around, this rarely improves the ambiance in my experience.
