The breakfast was nothing short of spectacular—each morning, we indulged in a delightful spread of delicious, freshly prepared options that fueled our adventures. It was the perfect way to start the day!
The gardens surrounding the guesthouse are a serene oasis, beautifully maintained and perfect for a leisurely stroll or relaxing with a book. We loved the tranquility they provided.
What truly set La Roca apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality. The owners and staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, providing storage for our bags while we explored Eswatini, which made our travels so much easier. Their helpful advice and local insights were invaluable, ensuring we made the most of our time in the area.
I can't recommend La Roca Guesthouse enough! If you're looking for a luxurious and welcoming retreat, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return!

Schoemanskloof is a beautiful area with stunning views and Waterfalls. There is a lot of nice affordable accomodation as well. We stayed at Klipinnibos which were absolutely wonderful!! There is a lot of hiking possibilities around the area with a lot of shade.

Gorgeous escarpment and unusual rock formations. Great to see the wild horses and visit the magnificent waterfall. Excellent restaurant with the best Eisbein and beef goulash at Bohemian. Wonderful Sunday afternoon music too. Nice to meander through the village streets. We were lucky to see the Autumn leaves turning so delightful colours everywhere.

NOTHING WRONG WITH THE HOST. HE TRIED HIS BEST TO ACCOMMODATE US. BOOKING.COM MADE A DOUBLE BOOKING. THE HOST OFFER US HIS OWN BEDROOM EN SUITE. WE BOOKED TWO ROOMS BECAUSE WE WERE 3 PEOPLE. THIRD PERSON HAD TO SLEEP ON FLOOR. I HOLD BOOKING.COM RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS. YOU TOOK THE MONEY FOR TWO ROOMS BUT WE ONLY GOT ONE.

Awesome dog friendly venue, our fur babies had a ball swimming and hiking. Venue is self catering and is well equipped. Venue is on a dirt road but we did not have any problem with our vehicles getting there. Nelspruit is close enough for doing shopping and the Kruger National Park was close by for day trips.

The Mac Mac Falls, Graskop Gorge Lift, God's Window, Elephant Whispers are all within drivable range and in the same line of travel making the area conducive for travelers. The area offers so much for both parents and children, i can visit the area throughout the year due to the abundance of amenities available.

Kaapsehoop is a beautiful quaint historical village hidden in the mist belt along the Escarpment in South Africa. I would strongly recommend this village for nature lovers with its many hikes. It is also great for any-one with an interest in history with a few old ruins of the offices and the houses, most made of corrugated iron, dating from the the towns heyday as a gold mining town in the late 19th century.
