Everything! The location is good (keep in mind that the waterfront is better accessible via uber), the staff is always with a smile ready to help. The breakfast is beyond excellent, the room is cleaned every day. Coffee, tea and water in the room are replaced every day. There is a secure parking inside the property. The view from the top is also lovely, the view from the restaurant.. we’ve liked everything!

We had a wonderful stay at this very beautiful estate. The room was extremely comfortable, with a huge, cozy bed and plenty of space. The bathroom was particularly impressive—very large and spacious, which made the whole stay even more enjoyable. The room was big enough to add a baby cot without it feeling crowded, which was perfect for us. The Stoep restaurant offers a stunning view, a very good menu, and friendly staff, all at a very reasonable price. The estate itself is charming and expansive, with a lovely old Dutch style that creates a peaceful and elegant atmosphere. The swimming pool area is fantastic, with a view over the vineyards and incredibly comfortable sunbeds—so comfortable that you can easily drift off while relaxing in the sun.

What a wonderful stay — but far too short. During our trip along the Garden Route, we absolutely wanted to do a game drive, so we booked one night here. But take our advice: one night here is simply not enough. To fully experience this place, you actually need at least two, maybe even three nights. Anyway, for anyone looking for a true safari experience in the western part of South Africa, there’s only one thing to say: Botlierskop is absolutely the right choice. Of course, it’s not Kruger — but hey, you know that in advance, and this reserve is clearly very well managed, and sustainably too. As for the accommodation: absolutely fantastic. Extremely spacious tented lodges with every imaginable comfort — and what views! We stayed in one of the lower lodges overlooking a pond where rhinos and buffaloes came to drink, just a few meters below us — truly breathtaking. The 3.5-hour game drive at sunset was educational and perfectly guided by Mel. The fact that we didn’t see lions didn’t matter at all — the rhinos, hippos, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, wildebeests, giraffes and zebras more than made up for it. Finally, the staff were friendly and discreet — what more could you ask for? We’ll definitely be back, next time with our children. Thank you!

The perfect location , you just walk to the restaurants , the beach . the hospitality , I had a really good view of the beach . Honestly I think you can’t beat a bay hotel view . The room was spacious and comfy , I ate at the restaurant . The portions were so big and food was tasty . They had options of welcoming drink . The hop on and hop off bus is right outside the hotel. I will definitely go back . Also a champagne breakfast . They agreed for a late check out that was not charged and I could enjoy the hotel amenities while I waited for my night flight . My room also was upgraded just perfect .

Based at Sea Point or Green Point is ideal as a cheap taxi ride (£/SAR) gets you into the CBD and V&A Waterfront. Table Mountain via Red Bus (City tour hop on-off) was ideal - go up if the mountain is clear! A walk up TM is very doable in good weather - 3 hrs up and down (total) for reasonably fit persons. Excellent restaurants everywhere - Den Anker in the V&A area and the Butchers Shop - Mouille Point both excellent restaurants. Lions Head also a great walk but notably more challenging than TM - be careful on both. Always go when busy from 9am til 4pm in Summer.

Absolutely love Outdshoorn with all the activities and convenience of all you need within the town. Highly recommend a bit of a drive out of town to visit the Red Berry Farm for the most delicious strawberry shakes, interesting maze experience and fun for the kids. Wilgevandel is a must for a camel ride and more fun for the kids. Then less than a km away is the Cango Caves with such knowledgeable tour guides to share the rich history behind the caves. Be sure to visit Chandelier for a chance to meet giraffes up close and the restaurant serves the most delicious, tasty pizza's!

Mossel Bay is a great place to holiday and stay. All amenities are close-by : shops, entertainment, restaurants, nice little shops to browse around in. Museums are informative and showcases the history well. Getting around is easy (not during the high local holiday season). From highly adventurous activities to do for example shark cage diving, sky diving etc to lazing on the beach. During my stay the weather was perfect!

Beautiful sea view, almost seemed it was a private beach with no crowd or very few people on the beach. We ate at the The Views Restaurant, Nandos in George, Sailor Sam in Knysna, Aweh Brew in Plettenberg Bay and Freshline Seafood in Knysna. It is easy to get around Wilderness because there is just one main road., the N2. although it is terrible to drive on this N2 road because of the ridiculous speed limits, besides the road construction, is also the cause of traffic build up.
