The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

Stunning property — there are 6 chalets and 1 family bungalow nestled among a 22-acre tea plantation, a walking path, lots of flowers and trees and right by the Castlereigh Reservoir. My elderly parents and I had a very comfortable 2-night stay in the family bungalow. The staff are friendly! We had several meals on-site during our stay; breakfast and lunch served outdoors with incredible views and dinner served in a cozy dining room. My fave was kayaking on Castlereigh Reservoir — extremely serene and peaceful! Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was wonderful!

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting up country. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to us. Beautiful and spacious hotel near the river. There is a nice big swimming pool in front of the rooms. Dinner and breakfast were great! I definitely recommend this place!

Real english colonial style hotel. It feels like a time travel here. There is a beautiful garden with a lake view. Housekeeping service great. There was everything in the room, even pillow menu.

Everything. The staff were amazing and were always ready too help with anything. It rained the entire time we were there so we couldn’t sightsee much. The satellite tv stations and the exquisite meals made up for it. The bathroom had a deep bathtub with great shower pressure. One of the highlights was the heating blankets which made a difference in the cold nights. We would definitely return again.
