The food was absolutely delicious. each meal thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. The room was cozy, beautifully designed, and spotless, making it the ideal space to relax and unwind. The location by the lake is simply serene, peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature. It was the perfect setting to disconnect and recharge. Special kudos to our butler Krishan, who went above and beyond to make our stay seamless and memorable. His attention to detail and kind service made a real difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy some true well-being time.

I found Ambula Resort by chance and I’m glad I booked it. The place is simple but comfortable, and it was very clean when we arrived. The view from the property is nice, and it’s quiet at night. The staff were friendly, and check-in was easy. We had dinner at Matara Ambula Restaurant nearby, which was also good. If you are looking for a calm place away from the noise, this is a good option in Nuwara Eliya.

The views were great, the staff was extremely cooperative and made sure to go the extra mile like arranging a poolside BBQ for us. The rooms were aesthetically pleasing and cleaned well. Breakfast, tea time snacks, and dinner was delicious and presented beautifully each time. The food was not very expensive either; it was good value for money.

It had been a dream of mine to stay at Tea Trails since 2019 and I couldnt be any happier with the experience. It will always be one of the most special moments of my life as I proposed to my girlfriend here. Huge thanks to the staff for recording our moment. The hotel is flawless, service and food could not be any better. Purely by coincidence we stayed here as the Hotel was featured on BBC "Amazing Hotels, life beyond the lobby". We were lucky that on our second day we were the only guests at Dunkeld bungalow so could enjoy everything to ourselves. The view from the infinity pool is probably the best I will ever see. Sure it's an expensive hotel but if you have the opportunity to stay here you wont regret it.

I visited Mandaram Eco Resort in December, and it was a truly unique experience. The resort provides parking 5 km away, and the journey from there is both interesting and adventurous. The road is narrow and bumpy, but the stunning views along the way make it absolutely worth it. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm welcome and treated to a delicious cup of cardamom tea made from their own garden. One of the highlights of the property is Kabaragala Waterfall, located just 200 meters away within their land – it’s breathtaking! The staff were incredibly friendly and honest, making the stay even more enjoyable. They serve mainly local varieties of food, which adds to the authentic and sustainable vibe of the resort. I highly recommend this place for anyone seeking a serene and eco-friendly getaway.

The Farm Resorts is located on the shores of the Castlereigh Lake in Dickoya. The Resort has barbecue facilities and terraced garden, and guests can enjoy a meal at the a la carte restaurant. Insanely superb views by the lake and mountains. Loved the Kayaking, the food and the hospitality esp Justin who was super friendly and of service. Great to meet the Manager heading the resort, very humble and cordial. Rooms were also very classy with some great views of the reservoir on one side and the tea gardens on the other side. They also had the option to cycle around the resort.
