The shower was great and the supplies toiletries were lovely. The bed was comfy, and there was a hanging rail for clothes and a hairdryer. The USB charging points by the bed were useful too. The bar / breakfast room is great, the brewery themed decor was really well done. Speaking of the breakfast, it was on par if not better than some I've had in 4 or 5 star hotels. The scrambled eggs were THE BEST I've seen on a buffet - light and fluffy unlike the tasteless, watery offering you often get! The staff at breakfast are so accommodating and helpful, and extremely on the ball with clearing tables. The location is good, the road at the front is busy but we couldn't hear anything from our room. The train station and city centre are a 10-15 minute walk away, I'm sure there are buses but we didn't bother. We had travelled by train and arrived hours before check in time and asked to pop our bags in their secure luggage room, but to our surprise were told our room was ready so we were able to freshen up before heading off to explore. We've stayed in York multiple times over the last 8 years, at least once a year and this is by far my favourite place that we have stayed in. I have paid much more to stay in far inferior hotels! (But please don't put the prices up, we want to come back ;-))”

  The room was well appointed and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is about a mile from the downtown area, so isn't really walkable. The owner, Sal, was a pleasure to meet and even gave us a tip on where to watch the sunset, which was a three minute walk from the hotel. Beach access was another easy three minute walk. The only ding was the complete lack of WiFi. Both of our phones could link to the provided network only sporadically. No big deal for us, but if you need a strong, consistent, WiFi signal for whatever reason, this isn't the place. Would definitely consider staying here again based on the room cleanliness and easy beach access.

  The breakfast was good, they had eggs, bacon, and potatoes. They also had waffles and pancakes. 3 types of cereals, coffee, tea and hot cocoa. Brayan at the front desk was super awesome and very welcoming and understanding. It's very safe because the elevator only goes up to the lodging floors with a guest key which gives great peace of mind. The room was comfortable and clean.

  It was not a walking distance to Disneyland but they had a shuttle close by. Some of the floors had a distinct smell. The parking is kind of expensive but it has in/ out privileges. At breakfast, the fruits were lacking a bit, they had only apples and few bananas that were all bruised. Breakfast also started really early around 6:30 and ended at 9:30 which if you are sleeping in isn't ideal.

  We absolutely loved the little cottage, everything we needed was there and in perfect working order. 2 minor problems: do they now allow babies( with diapers in the swimming pool (in my opnion it’s very unsanitary) and our data planwas very weak at location, so lots of waiting (place has no wifi)!

  The room was very clean, very comfortable, and very accommodating, especially the two bathrooms. Wi-Fi, TV, coffe maker all working well. Housekeeping was very attentive and the registration staff customer service was excellent. They were always approaching to offer help and give directions.

  We loved the friendly staff there at Old Town Inn. We love coming to visit San Diego and requesting to stay there at Old Town Inn. I don't think we'd ever find a more convenient place to stay. It's people friendly, safe & very clean.

  The pools were not cleaned as they should be. The tiles were disgusting both inside and outside, I almost threw up at how nasty it was. Thats my only complaint.

  I asked for handicap room as we traveled with my 91 year old mom The room was awful The room smelled really bad Someone put a fragrance scent pack in ac unit vent so someone knew it smelled bad The bathroom was good but the room size was to small for my mom to get around with her walker There was a pull out couch for my daughter to sleep on but the mattress was so bad she had to sleep on couch not folded out to a bed The room was clean and the rest of hotel was beautiful well maintained and the staff at desk was amazing. We travel quite a bit and the room itself was not for a handicap person We got all the extra stuff we needed. A blanket, towels and a toothbrush from front desk immediately and they were very kind I did report the quality of room and bad smell to clerk at check out
