How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our stay wasn’t long enough.
Having made frequent road trips between Brisbane to Melbourne, I’ve stayed at endless motels along the road. This one takes the cake and is the best I’ve ever experienced. Obviously recently refurbished, SUPER CLEAN, comfortable and the vibe in the room is actually inviting and makes you want to stay longer. Had our dog with us and was grateful for the big patch of grass for him to use. Staff were helpful and friendly. There was a very minor issue with the door key on arrival, but staff were obviously paying attention to the security cameras watching us, and came straight away to give us a new key. The fact the carparks are under surveillance made us feel that extra layer of safety and security. Would definitely book again!!!

The butter shortbread were lovely with coffee. I forgot to ask for milk on arrival.
The room was spacious, newly appointed and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It was easy to find, just off the highway and quiet. Later check in is also available.

The room was clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Pet friendly room with a nice green for walking dogs. Would highly recommend for a stay. Perfect location for the highway.

Lacking in easy kitchen and food preparation beyond cuppa tea or coffee for a group of 4 people. $30 for a small dog is too expensive, although it does mention it charges extra, somewhere in the advertising.
Hot showers great bathroom. Clean and very comfortable beds. Convenient location. Great TV. Easy car access. Very helpful staff

Great location and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Was great for the puppy too, with a "green space" for her comfort breaks. Exceptional size for this kind of accommodation and great bathroom size-wise and facilities. I highly recommend this spot.

We overnighted here and did not use any facilities other than the room to sleep For this it was perfect Breakfast was conveniently packed in packs and located in reception on check in with a few different options Was perfect for the quick up and go we had in the morning and for breakfast on the drive

Had everything we need and was in great condition. Comfy beds, cosy and food easily accessible near by. Very pet friendly and will definitely be back again. Negative- Wasn’t expecting to pay an additional $30 for pet on arrival. Thought it was included in the booking price.

The tiles in the shower were a little slippery.
The motel was well located, very clean and the staff were friendly. The room was comfortable and Foxtel was freely available which we enjoyed. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Wodonga.
