The jacuzzi was out of order which was a shame as it was one of the reasons I had selected this property. I had asked about the pool prior to my stay and think it would have been good if they had perhaps mentioned it or that there was some notification on the website that it was not currently in use. The rooms are very small and there is no room to open your luggage.

The location is excellent, near the hub of Smith Street so plenty of restaurants shops and bars nearby. The pool was great as it is heated.

I arrived late at night in winter and the window to the room was open which I didn’t realise so it was very cold and noisy until I woke up in the night to close it.

Great location, lots of food options nearby, tram line is minutes away. Room has great kitchen and laundry facilities.

This place surprised me. Really clever design to fit so much into such a small space. A full kitchen. Eating nook. Queen bed. Courtyard. Bathroom. And didn't feel too cramped or cheap. It was too cold out for a tropical visitor to use the courtyard, but the rest of the room was perfectly comfortable for me to work in, sleep in and walk around to get to things. You're a five minute walk from Woolies Metro. About another minute on top of that to Chemist Warehouse. The in-house gym was surprisingly good enough for a regular workout. I wasn't expecting that. But my chain gym is about a 7 minute walk away as well. Lots of food options nearby. Plenty of nearby public transport. I'll be back in November for sure. Oh and the staff was friendly and both check in and check out. Not that Disney bubbly friendly. Just regular person friendly. It's nice to be helped out without it feeling fake and scripted.

Being serviced apartments I think as a bare minimum there needs to be somewhere to sit and eat. Having a kitchen is great but no chair or small dining table made it a little tricky to eat. Also, restocking sugar and coffee pods would be a nice touch. A four day stay doesn’t warrant buying a supply of sugar and I ran out by day 2. It’s the little things :)

The rooms were particularly compact but we managed.

Our tramline was about 50m away and it was easy to get to where we needed to be for the events we were attending. The place was clean and tidy.

The shower is a kind of just a clear box outside of the bathroom and if you’re travelling with friends, it’s a bit odd because you have to get undressed out in the open before getting in haha

The bed was very firm (for me) and no shower cap (I didn't bring one this time as hotels have always had one in my experience) but these things won't affect everyone.

Very modern, clean, excellent in room facilities. Coffee machine with complementary coffee and tea. Full sized fridge, small kitchen and washing machine. Lots of storage. Would be great for longer stays.

Volume of speaker for garage entry needed to be a bit louder to compensate for the noise factor from a very busy street. The small table & squat stool was inappropriate to place your laptop on to do some work. Sitting on the balcony at night was not an option! Increase the size of the table & have a small chair, not stool.

Location was close enough to the workshop venue. Location provided multiple food outlet choices because I didn't plan to cook in the room. Clean complex.

Not Verius fault at all, but booking.com messed up our booking and didn’t tell them that we had upgraded our room, so we missed out on the executive suite room we had booked. Veriu were very apologetic even though it was due to lack of communication from Booking.com

We had a lovely stay at the Veriu Collingwood. The rooms were comfortable. Lobby, spa/pool and rooms were all very clean. Very well priced for the hotel.
