The hot water ran out after one person‘s shower. Some of the new paint dust seemed to rub off on the bags when placed in the closet.

The room and building look newly remodeled, so everything was fresh. The room was also quite spacious. The breakfast was decent and location was great to restaurants and beaches.

Only thing we would've liked better would've been to have black out shades. The light flooding through the curtains made the room brighter than we would've liked at night, but not a deal breaker.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. It is right on the harbor & easy to walk to the port, to restaurants, to beaches right from the hotel. Breakfast was included with our stay & was very nice to have. The breeze off the water was very nice as the breakfast area is a covered open air section overlooking the harbor. The kids enjoyed the pool on 2 of the days however the third day is was closed for maintenance but this was a nice added feature. We had a family room which is on the bottom floor of the main building. The beds were 2 twins & a double. The shower was nice & strong but leaked rainwater in the rainstorms (we only had one rainstorm while there). The hotel has a fridge for you to put food in so that no ants gets into the rooms. The purified water available to fill up water bottles and to have tea/coffee at all times was nice. The fact that purified water was in the taps was also nice. The manager at check in met us with a welcome drink of blackberry juice & was very informative about how to do things which were walking distance (like visit the darwin interpretative center, walk to the tijeretas, and then on to punta carola. She was also helpful with food choices as well. The room was a bit dated & would've been nice to have more than one pillow per bed (one extra pillow in the room). Some of the rooms have fabulous ocean views. Others do not. It didn't bother us as the views were steps away. Room was very clean. The kids had fun watching all the sea lions and pelicans on the harbor while viewing all the boats coming in & out of the harbor.

the first night we got a room on the ground floor facing the pool. I had the feeling that it does not worth the money. Only when the room has a see vieuw it worth the money.

No bedside table or bedside light on one side of the double bed - no electrical powerpoints on that side either or extension cord available to overcome this limitation. No tea or coffee making facility in room. Wifi sometimes a bit unstable.

I do wish they had mini fridges in the units. Having cold water and drinks after a 90 degree day would be a plus. Instead they have a shared fridge on the ground floor that gets locked every night at 8pm.

Breakfast was great and the staff were helpful. The two pools and "hot" tub were nice. Staff was able to arrange a taxi led tour for us on our last day that saved us a ton of money.

We stayed in room #1 on the 3rd floor. Gorgeous windows on 3 sides of the room. Spectacular ocean views and so much light in the room. Loved our stay here and would highly recommend! Nice balcony as well Great location

The staff was wonderful! They were very attentive and helped us book our excursions and offered suggestions. The breakfast was great and, on days when we were leaving early, they packed us breakfast to go. The room was very comfortable and the shower was fantastic. We loved hanging out on the balcony and watching the sunset. The wifi was spotty, but that is true for any location on the island.
