Charming hut in idyllic homestead set among the nature and bountiful harvest of Anne’s fruit trees, apiary, ducks & chucks! Super attentive, friendly and welcoming host Anne went above and beyond to make our short stay relaxing, rejuvenating and thoroughly enjoyable. Her great value continental breakfast basket was bountiful and scrumptious and the additions of her homemade preserves, honey and eggs from her very own chucks were delicious, as was her delectable blackberry & apple crumble harvested from her own garden. Absolutely delightful! The hut was fabulous too! Comfy bed, lashings of hot water in the shower, toiletries, towels & linens a plenty, smart tv and even games to keep us entertained. Anne is an exceptional host and we had a smashing time. We’ll be back! 🤩👍😊

It was all perfect!

Everything had been thought about, a comfy bed, hot shower, cooking equipment, and a lovely outside area. Also great walks from the door. The host was lovely, very friendly and helpful (she brought me an apple and blackberry crumble!) but also very respectful of privacy. No hesitation in whole heartedly recommending!

Beautiful wee hut with everything possible needed for my 2 night stay, exactly what I needed for a relaxing short break. Comfy bed, great breakfasts, fresh eggs from the chickens, homemade jams and honey made by the lovely owner Theresa , couldn't have asked for more.

The outside chairs were a little uncomfortable for sitting on all day. The kettle took a while to boil on the hob, and the chickens and ducks took some getting used to.

Lovely shepherds hut and breakfast baskets were plentiful and well worth it. We had a barbecue fry up one evening. Good weather meant sitting outside. The bed was comfie with large TV.

Did not realise when booked how close to road it was, so traffic noise

Very comfortable little hut. Super comfy bed. Spotlessly clean. Nice extra touches. Lovely sitting out watching the chickens and ducks and views of woods behind. Theresa was very welcoming and lovely host.

It was so clean and tidy... and so much attention to detail. The hut felt very loved and cared for... it felt very safe and was lovely and peaceful. I would definitely stay again!

This is being very picky. We didn't appreciate it was right next to the owners property so not as isolated as we'd imagined and you could hear the odd bit of traffic at night. But it honestly wasn't an issue for us - the terrace looked out onto their lovely garden and the accommodation was so stunning.

It was beautifully presented, a real gem of a place. A lot of thought had gone into the contents, so everything you needed for a compact space was there. The storage was used so wisely. We had nice weather so to be able to sit out on the terrace and have a bar-b-que overlooking the geese and hens was lovely. And being given free freshly laid eggs and to be able to buy homemade honey was just so nice. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to friends.
