The fact we only booked 1 night lol.

Everything about the place. Not very often you can give 10/10 but this was an easy 1. What a diamond of a little place. Hosts are exceptional also, we forgot the coal for our BBQ, sent them a msg to find out if there was a shop near by I could buy some from. Within 10 minutes the host turned up with a bag of coal for us to use.

Lovely hut, beautiful location (very remote along a long track but we loved that). Hosts very helpful and responsive. Everything in the hut finished nicely and very cosy without being a squeeze.

The Hut was ideal for me set away from towns and busy places. Just quiet with beautiful views of Blencathra. I had everything I could need and the owners were very responsive to messages. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away on the beautiful Lake District

Fabulous location - a little off the beaten track - last couple of hundred metres drive were on a quite rutted track - wouldn’t suit sporty car.

Such a cute little hut! It was a proper cottage core vibe and it was so cozy and nice! It has so much on the inside with the bed, the kitchen and the bathroom but it all works well and it doesn’t look cramped at all! There is a TV with Netflix which was a nice addition. It is in a really good location, extremely remote and a beautiful area! There is equipment for BBQs which I made full use of! Overall an amazing stay! I’d recommend to anyone!

Very Comfortable bed, lovely shower. Mircowave and hob in well equipped kitchenette. Tv/Netflix a bonus. Lovely views. Limited storage but has a set of drawers.

A few little extra touches would make the stay 10/10. A welcome book or a bit more communication would have been ideal with the WiFi password and some recommendations of where to eat, go etc. Some milk and salt would have also been nice as there was tea bags/coffee but no milk, the location makes it not so easy to pop to the shop. Outside space could also do with a little extra attention to make it as nice as the shepherds hut. But that being said I would 100% stay again and recommend!

Loved the shepherds hut! It’s very spacious, cosy and nicely decorated. The proper bathroom and bed were a bonus! Well located in the Lake District and very secluded - trust the directions given! We also had a surprise visit from a chicken and cat which were lovely!

Hard to find, lock to the hut didn’t work so our belongings were left unsecured. A long way from any amenities. Water didn’t work for a few hours and noisy plumbing. Toilet seat loose.

Shepherd hut was clean and cute based on a working farm.

Everything was fab. The only thing that was disappointing is it is named mountain view but you couldn't really see the mountains due to bushes and trees HOWEVER the area around the hut it lovely and well maintained.

We never actually met the owner as it is self check in but we got lost on route so I called her. She was very friendly and chatty and it put us in a good mood for our arrival.
