Restuarant is Ghurka and although they said it was advertised i obviously hadn't read this and was unable to eat this food, so had to drive elsewhere for food. Needs to be advertised more !

Convenient for what I needed it for a stopover

Rooms a bit tired, lots of luggage scratches. Continental breakfast was v poor and never been near the continent! A few cereals, fruit yogurt and uninteresting toast, tea or coffee.

-The room was clean enough, some dust on top of surfaces etc, but nothing concerning. -Bathroom could do with a refresh. -Rooms look a little dated (stain on the carpet) but overall fine. -Large TV in the room.

Bed was very uncomfortable. Paint on light fixtures, lazy decorating. Restaurant for breakfast had an awful smell (curry house in same building). Rooms generally need updating. Tv poor quality no apps to sign into personal accounts for streaming.

The setting, building and surroundings are beautiful.

The receptionist could have been warmer. No cooked breakfast option and only an Indian restaurant on site.

It was quiet, the room was, well, roomy and the shower was excellent.

Property was very close to where my meeting next day was and the coffee shop attached to it was amazing the cake was dreamy

Perhaps the toilet flush system could be looked at as its missing one.of its flush buttons.

A bit dark in communal areas & they felt a bit run-down.

Clean, plenty of complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits.

Felt the building was slightly tired and needed a bit of maintenance - painting etc. No power sockets by the dressing table so unable to use hair dryer by the mirror. No hook on bathroom door to hang dressing gown etc.

Nice building and nice interior. Coffee shop was nice and modern with a nice atmosphere and staff.

We have just had a 2 night stay and the staff were very helpful in what could have been a very difficult situation. We also had a very good meal in the Ghurka restaurant where the staff were fantastic..... If I personally had one or two negatives, it would be that the bed was way to firm for my liking and the shower was extremely hot with no way of cooling it down. That said, would definitely stay again.

Bit dated and not as clean as would expect. Skirting’s and air vents dusty. Breakfast very basic were informed no cooked was available only cold buffet. Only cereal toast and yogurt no croissants or pastries etc.

It was nothing to do until the bar open at five

The property was very pleasant very well designed but trying to get a drink in the bar at 2:30 was impossible. as jt didn’t open until 5 , the tea room took priorities and becomes a restaurant at five an Indian restaurant which was okay but it wasn’t the best food in the world.

Me and my mum don't eat a lot for breakfast. My mum had one bit of toast but got charged the full amount for a continental breakfast, and I had one bit of toast with some scrambled egg and got charged £12.50 for a full English breakfast The egg was rubbery, and the toast was from the smallest loaf of bread. I think there needs to be a different pricing option for people who don't want to get all the trimmings. It wouldn't have bothered me so much if I felt like the bread and eggs were of a better standard but i can make it better myself and i am not a cook by any stretch.

The hotel was very clean and friendly staff.
