The room had so much space! And I loved that there was a couch. It allowed me to sit and read my book while it rained.

Lovely welcoming host. Easy to find with the directions given. Very spacious room with a fabulous view of the mountains. Very comfortable bed. Easy to pop into Killorglin for dinner, great recommendations. Fridge available to keep any drinks or food cold. Fruit and yogurt available for the morning if we wanted it. Very pleased with our stay.

The self catering limited kitchen facility was a communal affair squashed into the end of the corridor. Only suitable for tea & coffee. Bit tight for space if you wanted to make a sandwich or prepare something in the microwave. I had assumed that this facility would be available in each bedroom - certainly big enough, absolutely huge rooms. One guest parked badly & so not good for last person in ! Step immediately outside front door was sloped - should be level. Not good for older folk. If it is sloped for wheelchair use then the slope should be on a 2nd step. Ask for bedroom not directly under upstairs bathroom !

Very comfortable. Very large bedroom but not en suite which I knew about beforehand , but unusual nowadays. Communal areas were in mint condition.

When we arrived there was a weird smell of septic. We worked out it was coming from the ensuite and it got stronger after using the toilet and/or shower. We had to leave the bathroom window open and door closed to relieve the smell. The bathroom was great but there were some tiles bulging off the shower wall.

The bedroom was enormous and meant we had a lot of space to spread our stuff out. The bed was incredibly comfortable and was a king size. Was great to be able to spread ourselves our during the night. We lost each other for a while in it. The accomodation was a short drive into town and in there were a number of options for dinner and breakfast.

Great hosts, lovely location, beautiful view out of the window, and I feel a bit unfair writing a second review, because I booked my second night separately from my first night, which means I get two stabs at reviewing the place.

This is the second time I've stayed here, but the first time there'd been any other guests. So, my top tip is: get to the shower early! The water had run cold by the time I got to the shower (it's a private shower, but the water seems to come from a shared source, and can go cold. It was hot on day one when I had the place to myself, cold on day two, at the same time, when there were folks in the other rooms) Also, I could hear the footsteps of the people above my room, which hadn't happened before. It wasn't disturbing, just alerting you that it's a possibility.

The hosts were so so patient and helpful when I arrived. Cos I arrived super late. My flight was delayed by two hours so I didn't get to them till nearly midnight. I hope I didn't wake anyone when I snuck in, as quietly as I can. They had been available by text all day for updates.

Very small kitchen corner, where it is very difficult to prepare a meal, the room can hear the sound of water flowing in the pipes from other tenants' rooms, the facility is located on the outskirts of the town, no shops
