Everything was perfect. From the introduction of the flat to the town of Lucca and surrondings. Big and comfortable rooms, light and clean. Flowers on the table made you welcome. Nice Big citymap laid out with highlights.

There was a lightbulb missing which made it a bit dark. The fridge was a little unclean plus being English it is always nice to have a little milk in the fridge for a cup of tea!! We have stayed in places in Italy where there are a couple of little milks available! Apart from that … perfect!

The location was perfect, close to all the shops, restaurants and bars plus all the sights to see in Lucca. Also just a 15 minute walk from the train station. The property was beautifully designed with lovely walls, ceilings and nicely furnished. Comfortable and clean smelling bedding.

There wasn’t much to dislike. We had a little problem with the sheets which didn’t smell as fresh as we’d like and the hosts went out of their way to replace them. May just be the washing powder wasn’t to our taste? A milk pan was dirty in the kitchen but not a big deal.

Beautifully refurbished property in the heart of the Lucca’s historic centre. We loved the decor and the location, kitchen was reasonably well equipped and beds were very comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and staff very kind. We liked that it was managed by a cooperative so some of our money was going to good causes.

Simone was a brilliant host and a pleasure to spend a little time with. The location was perfect and very quiet. Everything you wanted was in easy walking distance. Having a kitchen was a real plus.

The location was amazing and so close to the shops, restaurants and city wall. The street itself was super quiet and in a morning all we could hear were the birds. The apartment was absolutely stunning and had lots of character and charm. It felt really spacious and clean and included everything you needed if you wanted to cook there. The use of the bikes was a real added bonus and we got plenty of use of of them. Our stay in Lucca was magical and I would absolutely recommend this apartment. It’s also worth mentioning that the communication we received from the host was great and we were even met at the apartment on arrival to go through everything we needed to know.

The place is beautiful, very well located and we got the best welcome possible by Simon: great tips, wonderful help,..We did not see Irene but know she's been like a magical fairy: she made the place stunning and were ready to help. We recommend highly and we love the place has a soul, that the old building has a story and that there is a social project around it.

From the warm welcome to the perfect location, we couldn't fault Casa Nora. We would like to say a extra thank you to Simon, for being so kind and organising a taxi to a cooking class, helping us with our cases and dropping us off at the station. He really made our stay in Lucca that extra bit memorable. We will definitely be back one day

A washing machine was listed on booking.com however it was not available (should be updated on the listing). Only other recommendation would be to use a proper shelf/draws to store clothes in the bedroom. Asides from this it was a perfect stay!

Perfect location in the centre of Lucca. The apartment looks just like the pictures it was very comfortable and spacious! Simone greeted us and was wonderful - told us about the history of the apartment and recommended restaurants and things to do.

There was no washing machine despite it in the description. I chose the apartment knowing that I needed a washing machine. The owner said it was leaking for the last couple of weeks, but reading the reviews, it was also not there 9 months earlier. Also the number of beds was misleading. It said a double, a single and 2 sofa beds. Actually there was only a double and 1 sofa bed. There is a foldaway single but no bedding for it. The apartment was lovely, but the description on booking .com needs to be updated
