We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomWe didn’t like that we had to leave!!:((
Wow wow and just wow! We just cannot believe how incredible this place was! From the moment we arrived in Positano (on the ferry) we were given clear guidance on how to get up to Nocelle, a remote but picturesque haven to the hustle and bustle of Positano. The whole family were just so lovely! Such easy communication with Carmela- we really felt like it was home from home! They were so welcoming, and were so lovely to chat to! Uncle, Father, Mother and Daughter…. And Leo the little dog, a beautiful family. We watched the family tend to the organic garden and villa with such care and devotion it was a privilege to be welcomed to Dimora GiuEla! Fresh homemade breakfast every morning with home grown produce from the garden, which was so tasty. I am gluten free and they made sure my dietary needs were met, and it was no trouble to them at all. They have done such an amazing job of this place, the apartment was spotless. We wish we could have stayed forever! Thank you so much for such an incredible stay! Easy access into Positano on the bus ( the bus is small, but was entertaining on the small roads and we didn’t mind as it was easily accessible and so cheap. Can’t wait to come again!

We stayed here for a week on our honeymoon and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The whole family were incredibly welcoming and so lovely to us - it really added to the experience just having such kind people around every day. Antolino has his own garden where he grows everything himself, and all of it ends up on the breakfast table. The food was completely fresh, made from what they grow, and it was honestly incredible. Every morning was just a joy; chatting with them in Italian (they were so patient and encouraging as I’m learning), sitting outside, and enjoying the unbeatable view. Carmela, her parents, and her uncle are all such lovely people. And Leo, their dog, was a delight to have around too. The room was spotless and clearly cared for with real pride. We saw how thorough they were between guests, and everything was kept to such a high standard. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and everything else matched up to it, which says a lot. It was such a fantastic experience from start to finish. We’d recommend this place to anyone visiting Nocelle or Positano. We honestly couldn’t have asked for anything more. Grazie mille per tutto! Siete persone meravigliose e speriamo di rivedervi presto.

United StatesThe bus to the BnB can be long, but was okay when we planned accordingly. But overall, there are no complaints as this place is amazing and would recommend it to anyone.
We truly enjoyed our stay here and couldn’t thank the host enough. The breakfast every morning on the terrance with the amazing view of Positano and the coast was fantastic. The host was available for questions and provided great recommendations. Loved that the bus stop wasn’t too far from the bnb. It is also pretty quiet and away from the hustle and bustle.

BelgiumWe had a truly wonderful experience during our stay! 🌸 Carmela, our lovely host, together with Antonio and the uncle who prepared a different omelet for us every morning – each one a little masterpiece, made with love and fresh vegetables from the garden – made our stay unforgettable. We were always given great advice and tips for activities and transportation, and Carmela was always available and happy to answer any questions we had. The room was spotless and the view absolutely breathtaking. You can immediately feel that they genuinely care about their guests. The surroundings are peaceful and relaxing, yet within just a five-minute walk you’ll find a bus stop that takes you straight to Positano. Warm people, a warm atmosphere – without a doubt the best stay we have ever experienced.

AustraliaWe loved our stay at Dimora GiuEla and cannot recommend it enough. Carmela and Aniello were so friendly and they made it a very relaxing experience for us. The area of their property is in such a relaxing area and it was such a breath of fresh air getting away from the very busy areas of Positano. We also love spending time on the terrace and couldn’t get over how beautiful the view was. We cannot wait to return and will definitely be staying at Dimora GiuEla again.

AustraliaCarmela and her family, and staying at Dimora GiuEla were one of the highlights of our trip! The room was so clean and fresh, and the view was more than we could imagine. Staying up in Nocelle in the mountains was such a nice getaway from the rush of Positano. The bus up to Nocelle/down to Positano takes about 30mins, and can get a little crowded. Our tip when going back up to Nocelle is to walk to the Fornillo bus stop, to get on before the crowds at Positano. Plus fornillo beach was one of our favourites, and took about 7mins to walk down the stairs, 12mins to walk up. We had a beautiful home cooked breakfast everyday from delicious produce grown in their garden. Sitting on the balcony was so calm and a beautiful start to the day. There are two beautiful restaurants in Nocelle, Ristorante Santa Croce, being a favourite. Also a gorgeous restaurant in Montepertuso, Il Ritrovo, and they can help you with transportation to and from the restaurant. We could not recommend Dimora GiuEla more!

United StatesThe only thing to note is that the property is about 25 minutes from Positano by bus, so getting around can take a little planning. But honestly, the peaceful setting, incredible views, and the genuine care we received more than made up for it.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and more if I could!) Our stay at this B&B in Positano was absolutely incredible. The entire place was spotless and so clean, and the fresh, wonderful scent throughout made it feel extra welcoming. The views from the property are truly to die for waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. Breakfast was another highlight: fresh, delicious, and prepared with so much care. Carmela and her family went above and beyond to take care of us during our stay. They made us feel like part of their family, offering thoughtful touches and making sure we had everything we needed. They even gave us helpful information about the bus stops and getting around Positano, which made exploring so much easier. This was truly an amazing experience , warm hospitality, breathtaking views, and comfort all in one. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Positano! 🌸✨

AustraliaNothing. It was perfect! 😍
Stunning views and comfortable accommodation in a quiet location above the pretty town of Positano along the Amalfi Coast. Breakfast each morning on the terrace with food prepared with love and provided by the garden was a daily highlight and we loved coming back here at the end of each day 💙 special shout out to the local restaurant Santa Croce where we frequented for dinner 😋 The village is about 20 minutes to Positano which was perfect for us! We rented a scooter to get about which was awesome but there was also a bus stop very close by with regular buses 🚌

If I could give more than 10 stars, I would! Carmela was absolutely amazing — we arrived without cash for the city tax, and she kindly told us we could pay later, even giving us two bus tickets to get to the city. The breakfast was homemade and delicious — I could eat it every day. Our room was spotless, smelled amazing, and was super cozy. The entire place was pristine and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly warm, helpful, and thoughtful. One of the best stays I’ve ever had — highly, highly recommended!

AustraliaThis place is an absolute gem! It’s newly built, beautifully decorated, and incredibly cozy, with breathtaking views of Positano. The room has its own balcony overlooking the stunning landscape—waking up to that view was unforgettable. Breakfast was a real highlight—fresh, delicious, and made with ingredients from their own backyard, which made it feel extra special. The hosts, Carmela and her uncle Aniello, were so warm and welcoming. They truly made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and hospitality added a personal touch that made the stay even more memorable. Just a small note for future guests: the property is located in Nocelle, a peaceful village above Positano. You’ll need to take a bus to get down to the town (which runs regularly), and ride-sharing services like Uber are not available in the area. That said, the tranquility and views in Nocelle are absolutely worth it! I couldn’t recommend this place more highly. It was an amazing experience from start to finish

EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING. It felt personal, and not touristy at all. The hosts and neighbors were so nice and you could tell they genuinely care. It’s a beautiful property and we cannot wait to come back. It’s about 15 min drive (30 min walk) from Positano but there is a shuttle that is busy but do able. We loved that it was away from the loudness. The view is beautiful.

United KingdomOur stay was exceptional! The balcony/terrace and view made it! The room was super clean and modern and had a fridge. Fresh breakfast served out on your terrace. Carmela was so welcoming and helpful with travel advice etc. A couple of restaurants and a shop nearby. Its the last stop on the bus, the bus can get quite packed but at least going back down to positano you get a seat. We actually walked down into positano once which was quite enjoyable. The accommodation is stunning and amazing hosts! Thank you

PolandThere are no words to describe how wonderful our time here was. Carmena and her family are wonderful and warm hosts, with whom you feel at home. The place itself is absolutely beautiful, there is an amazing view from the terrace and beautiful surroundings. The room is perfectly clean, has everything you need and is beautifully decorated. Google map does not show it, but right next to the accommodation there is a bus stop where a bus to Positano leaves every hour (on average 30 minutes). So it is an ideal location and with great pleasure you escape from the hustle and bustle of Positano to this charming, picturesque town. There are restaurants and a shop nearby. The breakfasts prepared by the hosts deserve special recognition. They are served every day on the terrace where there is a wonderful view. They are absolutely delicious and prepared with vegetables and fruits from the garden (which is also amazing, there is a beautiful smell of orange blossoms everywhere). The hosts were so incredibly kind and helpful that they helped my boyfriend prepare a surprise engagement for me - it was an absolutely beautiful experience that I will remember for the rest of my life. This is definitely the most beautiful and charming place I have ever been to and I sincerely and warmly recommend it to everyone. No 5* hotel can capture this atmosphere. Carmeno, your family - you are wonderful! See you soon! Greetings to Leo 😂🤍
