I didn’t dislike anything about the property.

The little fridge ticked like a bomb all night, finally had to unplug it and even though it was a smoking room it could've used some deodorizer. The ice machine was broke but provided a very small bag of ice that was one frozen piece of ice.

The price and the bed was comfortably.

had a tough time understanding the desk clerk no breakfast and the shower curtain rod was coming off the wall and the curtain slid to the center and water went all over

It says it’s a Super 8 but it’s also labeled as the Fort Scott Inn. Lobby is cluttered, shower curtain wasn’t hung properly. Did not look like photos online.

They did allow pets for a small fee. Then charged more for the pet hair left behind, but the total fees were still very reasonable for a pet. Convenient location and budget friendly.

Super 8 must have just bought the property. Lots of remodeling going on and no breakfast offered. Had to also call the hotel to get someone to come to the desk.

The only thing I could say that was somewhat negative is shower curtain was coming out of the wall so maybe need to update a few things but didn’t impact my stay any. Also would be nice if maybe some fruit and maybe some eggs and sausage or hard boiled eggs would be a nice addition to the breakfast, but we still left with full stomachs with the waffles so not a big deal, just maybe an opportunity for higher rating :)

Manager was super nice and accommodating. Bed was comfortable and room was clean and stocked. Manager let my girls swim in the pool until they left for the evening.

This was a non-chain motel being converted to a Super 8. They are "updating" the rooms but it still shows it's age.

The room was small and dated, but generally well kept for the age of things. The bed was okay for an inner spring mattress, but was made worse by the 2" thick pillows. Our friends stayed in the rooms that are accessed from inside the building and didn't have that issue so maybe it's just a rear facing/first floor problem.

The location was wonderful. It's within walking distance of downtown and all the cute shops and restaurants there as well as close to the Fort. They've also got a great little cafe in the building if breakfast is your thing! The staff was sweet and caring and their pet policy and fee is one of the best I've seen ($10/pet/night). The price is right for this stay if you're going for budget and location over luxury accommodations. The rooms are dated, but they were clean.

Everything was adequate. People friendly. Close to downtown.

Check in was fast. Although undergoing improvements, the attendant told us about modifications & where breakfast would be served.

Room was dirty. Had been painted recently and looked like a child had done it. All over the carpet. Bathtub had recently been painted and water took forever to drain. We have stayed here a few other times and no issues but wow this time was different.

It was outdated, dirty. The pool was not open. The room was hot & dark. There were concerns about staining on the mattress. We did not stay. We checked out right away & requested a refund.

Front desk staff was nice.

Bathroom TUB was dirty and damaged near the drain, Why would you put someone in a room that was unchecked knowing a child would be coming and kids take baths .. It upset my sister so much she refused to stay the 2nd night and then we got the runaround thru messages to be refunded the 2nd night we canceled. Room had an old lamp shade with cracks in it.
